I saw them during the 1984 tour at the Capital Center in Washington, DC. The band was at the height of the Van Halen/Roth empire. Incredible show.

I remember when the bbc2 old grey whistle test showed this in 1984 . My brother was adamant that the bbc had the whole gig and even wrote to them but they said they were only allowed to film and show one bands song only . I have now come across this roadie filmed version and unfortunately my brother died in 2008 . He would have crapped his pants if he had seen this . Cheers whoever put this on YT and avoided Van Halen archives taking it down . 🤘

Hard to think of a more ferocious - and fun - live rock band. DLR doesn't get enough credit for redefining and perfecting the sport of frontmanship.
