From childhood, the streets of my beloved Jerusalem filled me with wonder: Living in the heart of the world shapes the Jerusalemite. For me, it gave me a sense of purpose, to do things for Jerusalem.
At age nine, my fingers first felt the magic of this orange, textured ball and sensed a passion grow. Years later that passion is called the Jerusalem basketball legend, my signature. From my professional basketball career I grew in experiences; they made me proud to represent my city of love and peace.
Each time I’d return home to these majestic gates of the Old City, it’d fill me with joy--each time I’d pass through: Jaffa Gate, Zion Gate, Dung Gate, Lion’s Gate, Herod’s Gate, Damascus Gate, ...
