I’m actually sobbing right now. This video showed emotion SO WELL. I loved how you colored in scar. It made me feel like he was full of life while Grian was dull, so Grian held onto him (mentally) because he was his life. And the scene where Scar was dull and sitting down, I saw that as him feeling lost and mourning Grian even though he didn’t die, scar just missed the poor guys and felt bad that Grian did so much for him. Proud he won, saddened by the way he did. Love this animatic sm. ❤️

I think I understand the coloration- though I might not be correct. so, grian's color is red, correct? I think the reason scar is red in the 3rd life scenes is because grian considers his color, red, something that he can never get rid of- or it represents the blood he's shed over the years (if we consider TS, YHS, EVO, HC, and the LIFE series all being the same people each time). in 3rd life, grian never felt like he could leave scar's side. he had sworn to himself that he would knave the second he lost his 1st life, but ended up staying around the whole time. in 3rd life, scar was something grian couldn't be without. now, the blue was harder for me to find what it represented- but I think I got it. though, it is a YHS and EVO heavy idea. blue was taurtis' color, correct? and scar was blue in the double life scenes. now, taurtis was someone that kept coming back no matter what- even when we thought he wouldn't. we thought taurtis was gone after s@m stabbed him, but he came back. we thought his memory was gone, but it came back. we thought he would never come to EVO, but he did. taurtis- at this point- is infamous for showing up when we don't expect him to. now, we didn't expect scar to be grian's soulmate, but he was. in double life, scar probably reminds grian of taurtis- hence not staying around him in hope of keeping him from harm. I believe it may be a similar scenario that s@m was in, seeing one person as someone else. but grian doesn't force scar to act like taurtis or call scar taurtis. basically, grian views double life scar similar to taurtis- hence the keeping him from harm constantly. something that i forgot to put is that in HCS7- in grian's mansion- while he was doing the hermit-challanges (HC Season 8, ep. 48), one of grian's challenges was to wear a blue sweater during the whole episode. grian said he did not like blue. this might hint to 3rd life scar being red while double life scar was blue. grian adored 3rd life scar, yet longed to be away from scar in double- hence the color differentiation. I hope that's easy to understand. it's just my interpretation of it though.

Absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. The parallells between both series are seriously something to think about. The frame at 2:22 is seriously going to have me absolutely weeping for an EXTENDED period of time. I'm such a sucker for art referencing that moment from 3rd Life.

"The Lord's gonna come for your first born son," fits so well oh my god. That closeup with Rolan!!! He's not only literally the Deep's first born but also the first born version of himself (with the second being the insect that replaced him). That blood-red hair made me gasp. You made the ending equally ambiguous to the campaign's ending -- did Rand survive the bomb, or is "you've changed," his sister's way of calling him not human? I finished BITB a couple days ago and knew this had to be the first related thing I watched. Thank you for making this <3
