North leg of the R-Line gets 2 daily freights, NB 12R and SB 15R We used to get alot more traffic years ago, but PSR has ruined it As far as the other leg from Columbia and Augusta, I know 191 and 192 run but I’m not sure if anything else runs… Always throw in locals, and an occasional few grain trains

These trains can get pretty long, it sucks we don’t get as much as we used to but hey I don’t own the railroad lol

These intermodals that Charlotte sees come from Jacksonville FL

A surprising one atleast, pretty good speed tho!

They are, one of the main reasons why I still shoot at this spot. The SB signal (newer) was put up in August of 2019 after my Detroit trip. One of my old videos (my only one) to feature both signals is up on my YT, way at the bottom…

Yes, as far as I know all the signals should turn green. The only reason as to it not in this video, is because the mixed freight is working the yard a few miles from here so they need an approach signal, hence why there running so slow

It's random but noon is usually busy

It depends on what day your out, typically theres about atleast 6 trains that run through here… schedule wise is always random, but two trains typically run between 5-9 pm. There’s atleast 6 trains that pass by here daily… occasionally we’ll get Wadesboro ethanols (like the one in the video) We get: 2 mixed freights, 2 intermodal/mixes, 2 intermodals from JAX, and occasional locals and ethanols

Yearly festival that the town of hamlet holds the last Saturday of October, honors the seaboard railroads and their impact on the town itself, Carshows, parades, food and a lot of trains!

@@bradley.reim22 I actually went to that last year because CSX brought in. 1982 for display I'm Hoping they bring in the Seaboard or SCL unit or both this year, as of right now I haven't heard any information about this year's festival But I'm only an hour and 5 minutes from Hamlet so it's easy for me and my family

I try to get out as much as I can, but I keep it local as well! I’m glad that im able to be in this hobby!
