I know a few PSS spots thanks to TBS Sometimes theres a box or a crate or a chest in a corner and it's at an angle to where you can vault over it and hide in the corner, if you crouch and look straight down it's PSS Also the thing about node monsters I can explain it better, they're monsters that have a specific path in the room drawn out by the devs, it always goes from point A to B, so if you have a side room(A^2) or an offshoot hall(C) MOST of the time they wont get you, it depends on what it is and what the pathing is, as well as what monster it is(If it's Pande and theres a shelving rack you can hide behind it by crouching and looking down, or by backing up against the wall and moving slightly forward, sometimes they'll have a crack between it and the wall and Pande will see you through that)

Here's another trick to Good People that a lot of players miss: There's a static-like effect on the number display of all fake doors which doesn't appear on the real door. It's a tactic I have used for speedruns in the past and saves a lot of time rather than having to sit and listen for the audio cues. In the Ridge there's also another visual cue I've noticed where there looks like there is light coming from underneath fake doors.

I treat every light source In this game as a flash beacon, use them for 2-3 seconds, memorize the layout of the part of the room you're in and where the drawers are, once you can't remember the layout anymore, just repeat the process, none of the light sources are as bright as the flash beacon, but they still do a great job, plus they'll last way longer than normal, another tip is to use only use the lantern if you don't have any other light sources, the lantern's hitbox will activate any nearby squiddles

A trick that didn't need me picking up a light source ever since is go to color management, advanced, calibrate display and turn the gamma brightness all the way up. It reduces lag for me cuz I don't need to high my graphics to be able to see plus you can see better in the dark, but It's only applicable for PC or laptop
