Hi, thanks for your reply. This bmw isn't remapped pal. It's stock, but I'm guessing if it was it would pull much harder after 60mph. My old e90 320d was a different beast after it's remap. But I did also get the dpf removed!

Hey my friend, this was only a test drive as I'm broke and could never afford this type of car unfortunately. But what I'm absolutely shocked about is that the A7 actually gets slightly better mpg than the A4 which makes no sense!

It's been custom remapped, rolling road... dpf removal, but the dpf is still on but nothing inside if that makes sense, performance air filter, always top quality diesel and good tyres. That's it pretty much!

there is none gotta get some exhaust shop to do it or cut the dpf off yourself

Aw, this one ain't mine pal... I lost my job and still haven't been able to get a job. This is a friend of mine that has this and loaned me it for a few times 0-100mph which was nice of him. He says 246 bhp but he's ony had it on 1 dyno machine, I prefer the consistency of 2 machines to stop any marginal errors!

I would say roughly the same... The whole gaining more power with better fuel economy is a bit of an exaggeration Tbh. Never believed it and it's not saved me anymore but then again not cost extra really.

@@johnnysexton7501 hi, well... The dpf was cut out from inside the actual part, but the dpf was stuck back on with nothing in it if that makes sense. Just so it passed it's mot inspection. No straight pipe though unfortunately.

Oh hell no, I had no chance against the 330d. I raced one before and it pulled away around 110mph mark! I'm not sure if his was remapped but we pulled from 30mph to avoid any slipping error, neck and neck to 80mph then slowly he went... Mine is a sedan or saloon.

It seems to be holding up pretty well. I think it could take 270-280bhp max before any serious gearbox, flywheel transmission mods.

A6 c7 has the 3.0 tdi v6 with 272hp and sTronic (dsg) as standard so it can take some serious power and torque (580nm)

@@ficoe39udovcic40 yep, only reason I was asking as the previous 6 speed dsg had so many problems with mechatronic and jerky shifts. My A3 had some problems with that also so now I only drive torque converter transmissions and are much smoother in traffic albeit a bit slower gear changes.

@@piovo1 old one had some problems but the newer is ok. I mean it will never be as reliable as torque converter one but with regular fluid and filter change it should last

All I can say is you're right it's great... But make sure if getting it remapped spend that extra £80-100 getting it done on a dyno. The whole flash and dash is just not worth it because I had mines done and it put out 205bhp when the guy stated it would be 230 easy. Total bull shit! I had proof from 2 separate dynos and he had to refund me the money. Look into getting the dpf gutted, not removed just completely cut out from inside and dpf switched off. Not too much smoke. Only above 4k revs. Performance air filter will help. Maybe only 3bhp but everything helps!

@@LC-xl9op thank you for your advice! I agree with you that remap has to be done properly,custom for the specific vehicle.I think Darkside Developments are the gurus in VAG diesel tuning and they will do a great job.

Love the golf Mk7 GTD, the 184 is a good engine, I would probably do what, remap, dpf removal, air filter upgrade, maybe a straight pipe. With dry conditions and good tyres I reckon it would definitely hit 0-60 in around 5.5secs only because it's FWD, traction loss regardless. And that's the best case scenario for my 0-60, there's no more I can possibly get from this without a new exhaust system, intercooler and hybrid turbos. Not worth another £1,500 at least when I could get a 3.0tdi 286bhp standard remap to around 340bhp with the dpf removed. But getting rid of this due to losing my job, so that's it all over. For me anyway!

The CR190 has a watercooled turbo, the BV43D, if it has the same turbo as the CR190 in the Passat and Superb. Golf 7 GTD has a GTD1449vz. The GTD turbo is easier to install on a CR150 due to the fact its not watercooled.

@@ThenameisOskar yeah ive heard alot about how easy they are to bolt on. My injectors should flow enough to get 230 off a map once fitted but most of time the gtd injectors come with the turbo your buying if the cars being broke so might fit them aswell.

@@MPTWORLD. Its even easier if the DPF is deleted. 😆 Ye, with the GTD turbo you can reach 220-230hp. I would also install GTD/CR190 injectors though. Due to shorter injection time -> lower EGT. My CR150 is doing about 200hp 450nm right now. If it ever decides to break, I'll only install a GTD turbo and get it mapped 220hp and about 470nm.

Hey, no my friend I couldn't afford to keep it, lost my job due to the scamdemic! So eventually got a VW Golf and then got another job.. saved then got the Audi, but lost my job again as it was fixed term unfortunately. Time to get another 1.4 or 1.6 diesel cheap run around. I've probaby spent too much on cars and the losses are too great. **I know I answered questions that weren't even asked** but I was honest haha!

@@LC-xl9op Haha it definitely looks fairly quick, bet it pulls well! 5.3 secs to 60 is bloody good going for a 2L, I take it it's a quattro?

@@dweatherley yeah pal, quattro, got the all seasons on and it was semi dry so I'll take that. My latest video was in the dry. Not sure if there's much difference!

@@BiggaBeatz Nah there's no way my 2.0litre comes close to a 3.0ltr. Maybe 0-30mph but after I would have no chance!

5.2ish secs now with the good remap and dpf removed. That's good from stock, as it's like 7ish secs to 60mph! That includes less than a quarter fuel in the tank and no excess weight.

I'm assuming decrease in MPG and some can botch the job and do a shit one which can fuck up parts of your engine

Speeding tickets

The guy that remapped my engine said that he had to trial his code since its was quite violent. And he also cut out the dpf inside that thing and put it back. So it looks like it had a dpf but didn't. Bi straight pipe unfortunately. So I would say the reason is... Excellent top rated diesel High tyre pressure (43psi) K&N Air filter Dpf cut out (no straight pipe) Aggressive remap. I think it's faster than my Audi that I had.
