I have an associate degree in Liberal Arts , I want to go into public health with the strong idea to work for an ONG like USAID , WHO , UNICEF in Africa. Any suggestion on which concentration would be ideal ? Any recommendations and suggestions please ? Love your video
From what you are listing, it sounds like you might be interested in programs with a concentration in "Global Health," but do your research first on the different types of concentrations.

When I initially graduated from school, I went into the polysomnography field and loved it; now I'm going back to get a Bachelor of Science in Community Health. I want to concentrate on sleep health and nutrition due to it all being linked. I'm trying to figure it out.

Hello I just finished my BSC. public health in Nigeria, is it possible for me to get a good job with it? (was planning on going into international health)
Hello, I'm not very knowledgeable of international degrees, so I would recommend doing research and reaching out to others who might know more about this. If the degree you mentioned is equivalent to at bachelor's, I would say in the USA its a bit difficult to get jobs without a master's degree (not impossible, but difficult). I have met international students who were studying for their master's in public health (perhaps studying Global Health), so it's definitely something that can be done. I would say that a masters degree + work experience are a good combination to have for the public health field.

I know this is a super late reply, but it's great to hear about your interest! Always be yourself! Attend events, and reach out to sisters in your local area to get to know them. Sisters are super kind and open, don't be afraid.

Advice for below 3.0 GPA applicants to MPH program? I know there are many stories of people being able to be accepted to most and even some top programs with lower GPAs - trying to figure out how i can do the same 🤔

Yes, and vice versa. You could also be a public health nurse, so both at the same time.
