I’m glad you avoided the fire! That’s scary! But now you’ll be safe for a while because all the fuel is burned up. Yeah- I don’t like the smell of burnt anything. I was thinking of the Guided by Love sox, but such small needles and fingering weight. The photos of them on Rav are cool- I didn’t realize the toes were yo’s also. But I do have a friend that lurves dogs so I may give it a try. Did you say the size of your needles? Glad you’re recovering from your rock incident! That is very annoying and disorienting, ❤❤

Great update! I’m casting on at 9:01 on the 6th also! haha Your dog stories are great! Too bad even seeing more baby squirrels wouldn’t tempt him to go out again. Probably his “dogs” (slang for feet) were too tired to go for another walk.

Thank you for helping me keep track of the whatever-alongs! I keep feeling like I am “behind” on everything and need to remind myself that these are primarily self-imposed deadlines. Nothing bad will happen if I don’t finish a KAL on time. I really do need to fluff my stash, though!

My Mom's fault on the spelling of my name - but it's simple like Nevin with a B. ;) I had a Border Terrier and they are notoriously jealous and unhappy around other dogs. :) I don't remember socializing my BT - it did charge a semi once - so that was fun. Great progress on all of your projects. I have brain damage from 4 brain tumour operations so could not keep track of that many. I work on 2 small projects - one of which is always a pair of socks - and have a rarely growing Cosiest Memory Blanket on the go as well. Have a happy birthday next week - and of course you should sign up to Medicare. The NHS is the best institution we have in England and I would not be alive if it were not for that. So many make-alongs, and you are making great progress toward your goals. You’ve reminded me that I have a BINGO card to fill out somewhere. I went to my local yarn shop to knit with friends for a couple hours on WWKIP day and made good progress on a sock. I’ve been going through a “bleeding money” period as well, and I do feel grateful that we have the money to bleed. I cannot believe how expensive some things are right now!

I am British and growing up, we always had Candlewick bedspreads on our beds. They were commercially made and one of the things that my sister and I did was to luck out the bits f loose yarn that stuck up in a pattern. I have not thought about them for years!! Congratulations on reaching 100🎉 I was sucked into last summer’s Stephen West’s sock along 😂 and knowing how upset I would be when it didn’t fit, I used worsted weight, and made a Christmas stocking. Material B is absolutely adorable. Thank you for sharing 🩷
