Why not just get a VFC, I don't tink the TM is made for a metal slide and requires too many upgrades.
@@hughobrien1234 this is very true, and completely valid if you’re just wanting something out of the box 👍 I would recommend a vfc over a tm every time if the person in question wants a metal slide pistol. I do have a bomber steel slide vfc glock 19x in my collection, along with a steel slide fnx45, however I do find the vfc stuff to be very hit and miss with build quality their glock alloy slides seem to be very weak on certain models (also see my video on the vfc fns9). Also steel slides for vfc models are very expensive when compared to the guarder stuff for Tokyo marui. I also honestly really enjoy the build, plus with tm’s very good gas efficiency they respond very well to these upgrades usually. But mainly, it’s the build I enjoy. taking something, and making it better 😉
Part 2 was just as good as Part 1. I absolutely love the detailed craftsmanship of Airsoft guns. Thank you for your calm and soothing narration, it truly enhances the video.
@@ryzwind2209 thank you, I’m glad you’re enjoying the series so far :)
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt Man trust me you were one of the best youtube recomendations I got lately :D
@@ryzwind2209 that’s very kind, thank you.
In my case I just only change the Airsoft Masterpiece sear and AIP sear spring that can fix the hammer and BBU friction and full auto problems.
@@KeiyaC thanks, that’s good to know, I did suspect you probably could just get away with replacing that unusual sear, but the hammer felt cheap so I thought I’d replace both. Great to hear you got yours fixed for cheaper 👍
This video was great, also that gun looks so good. I have been trying to get into airsoft for the last 5 years and allways find another way to spend my cash xD
@@ryzwind2209 thanks 🙏 It’s definitely an expensive hobby if you do builds like I do
Where to buy it?
@@morriszachrisson8359 it is custom built short barrel. You can buy the base revolver, however it will have a long barrel.
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt I know it is custom built. I am asking about who has made it and how to contact that person.
@@morriszachrisson8359that would be me :) I modified the original front end cutting it down and using a milling vice on my pillar drill, it was a very time consuming process, but worth it. I’ve heard that there is a 3D printed version available on thingyverse. Never tried it though!
Love the shotgun! Perfect combination of the over-slung stock and Magpul pump! Is it APS?
@@adamhunter5026 thanks! Yes it’s a aps shell ejector :)
Great job and love the homemade scribing tools!
Thanks man, yeah I’ve always been like if you can’t find the right tool, make it! 😝
I wouldn’t touch the trades, looks great as is. Plastic fantastic FTW!
Awesome work! Looks epic!
Thank you! Cheers!
Can’t wait for more episodes keep up the solid work!
Thank you!
Where to buy??
The base pistol can be bought through most retailers here in the uk under the umarex brand, however I believe it’s sold as the ‘premium’ steel slide version. Non uk, I know you can buy it directly from samoon (ghk)
That is a beautiful piece, thanks for sharing! Just seen it up for sale 😢
Thanks! Yeah I think I’ve just secured a sale on it. Need to shift it to go towards other builds unfortunately!
Gen 2 for the win! 🏆
love the c2 😍
Out of curiosity, where did you purchase this Staccato? I live in the UK also and the only places I can find it are chinese websites so id have to import it. Stellar review though, appreciate all the details
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked the review. I actually got this ‘second hand’ however I suspect it’s had almost no use. Airsoft direct uk have them on pre order currently, so that would be a good way to locate one if you don’t want to order from abroad.
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt yeah the only issue with it is they never seem to come back in stock, when I called to ask them, they said it was a preorder not a back order so they couldn’t promise a delivery date. I found a secondhand one in a similar state to yours so have that and a new sear on the way. Cheers for the reply
@@sufyanm4661 ah glad you found one! Yes hammer and sear will fix the issue! Best of luck with the instal!
would you buy this one over the umarex glock 17 gen 5? I cant decide. also I do live in the states which means an orange tip. I do fear taking it off will damage the finish, but I still would like your opinion on the two.
Personally I would, but that’s because I would always intend to upgrade it to a metal slide and barrel which is usually far higher quality than the umarex models come with stock. However if you don’t want to mess with it, then I would ask you if it having a plastic slide would bother you, if yes, then get the umarex, but if not and you want a efficient little sidearm, then 100% go for the TM.
The release valve on the mag took a crap on mine monday.
Oh damn, they really don’t seem very well made I must say, I think I’ll be changing mine for an army armament version at some point I think!
Hey man. Thank you for posting this. I bought mine, and it's like the hammer never latches all the way and follows the slide home to only shoot full auto. Will be trying this fix.
@@LiamStJohn-uh6np no problem at all! Glad this can be of some help! I’ve just been doing some more work on it this evening and it’s still working perfectly. So I definitely recommend that hammer and sear combo. Yes I believe the extra weight or mass of the sear was stopping it from travelling forward and latching the hammer, it’s likely just the sear would fix it, but I was keen to replace the cheap looking hammer!
That's what I. Carry
Dayuum
It is a very nice operating replica, I just hope mine doesn't do the same thing!
I hope so too mate, I absolutely loved mine, it’s a real shame :(
35:58 if you cocked it with the trigger in the resting position and then tried to test the three round burst you should get 3 clicks. The ratcheting mechanism will not cycle fully if you engage three round burst using the firing selector while holding the trigger in a depressed state like that. Realistically the scenario of switching into three round burst with the trigger depressed like that should never happen (why would it be operated like that anyway?). Anywho, fantastic video! Also, looking at the mechanism I have an idea of how the trigger pull could be shortened, but as a result the trigger's resting position will be shifted backwards a bit. Material can be added to the opposite end of the trigger piece, as in the face of the trigger that contacts the firing selector piece. About a millimeter or so; adding too much material will interfere with the safety function of the fire selector. The trigger will jam on the selector pin, preventing safety from being engaged entirely. The amount of removable "slack" can be demonstrated by engaging the safety and actuating the trigger - it's actually quite a significant length of the pull. Additionally, if we remove the grip, that spring loaded plunger behind the trigger should be able to be adjusted backwards into the pistol grip and away from the trigger. As in the case of the real steal 553, it is possible to adjust the plunger to first contact the trigger just before or at the "wall" to achieve a crispy and true two-stage trigger pull feel.
Yes I suspected I was doing something wrong, and until that point I hadn’t had a lot of time messing with it, but yes how you explained it makes total sense! Good shout, I think that would work, next time I’ve got it apart I’ll have a good look and see if it’s a possibility, nice explanation, I’ve got a pretty clear idea of what you mean! Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked the video!
If that’s the double bell mk12, bro it’s the best, no need to upgrade, it’s been a personal favourite.
This is actually a golden eagle gbbr wearing a mk12 front end with a few ghk parts for good measure :)
@@Gasblowbackairsofttdamn, well the mod 0 hand guard is definitely a good choice.
@@louissinon6868 yes it’s by no mean lightweight, but it’s definitely a good looking rifle!
@@GasblowbackairsofttYh my double bell has a steel handguard shit is heavy, but weirdly comfortable to use.
A steel handguard? Wow, the one on this one is aluminium, and it’s heavy enough! I’d hate to carry around one with a steel handguard! 😂
How much thank you
They’re no longer available with the steel slide unfortunately, the vfc is currently available with the alloy slide however.
I like the colour and camo grip. Thinking of getting one.
If you’re a 1911 fan, you won’t be disappointed. It runs great!
Have ordered one. Will be my first TM gun. Wish it was in metal. 😅
Yeah it’s a shame, but they do run great with the lightweight polymer slide and barrel if you intend on skirmishing it!
Would love to see a comparision video between G19 Gen3 and Gen 4!
Thanks for your input! I’ll definitely consider one :)
😍😫 I need you to sell me this
Who knows, it could happen one day 😂
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt I'll keep my fingers crossed 🤣
He can you sell me a Glock 26 steel slide
@@user-gi1co6ul5f I’m sorry, but I don’t sell any of my builds, nor would I be able to on this platform. Guarder do steel slides for the airsoft g26 platform, so the best option would be to purchase the parts and employ a tech to build you one :)
😂😂😂😂 how much of the total value of a rifle am I morally obligated to tell the wife?
😂 I’d say 50% -10 😂
Where did you pick her up second hand?
I got her from one of the many discord groups :)
😍
😍 I need me a five7 😫
Yes mate, they’re a weird but cool thing
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt absolutely need one haha
nice vid! u earned a sub. btw is this the mk1 or mk2 version?
Great to have you along! Thanks for the feedback, this is the mk1 mcmr. So its technically v2/2.5
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt ok tysm
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt All BCMs are gen3
@@oranda2000 apparently the original ones (like this one) are technically a kind of ‘v2.5’, based on v2 with some v3 improvements before v3 came out, so I’ve been informed.
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt Nah, the silver one piece valve knocker means a gen3. The very first gen3 VFC AR15 was the Mk1 BCM MCMR.
I have it 4 year's and love it!!!
They are an interesting alternative to the usual smg’s that’s for sure 👍
great review too bud 👌👌
Thanks man :)
these have intrigued me for a while, I would kind of like one but then it doesn't really fit on my collection anywhere haha 😂😂
Yeah it’s definitely one of the more unusual items in my collection 😂
I still need to add one of these to my collection really. 😔
You do mate! Action airsoft have them at pretty reasonable prices currently!
No way that is a siiick addition to the collection! Does it shoot well too?
It’s got a vfc g18 internally, and shoots great! I have the dbal fitted so you can use the laser as a sighting aid
I really like the look of that 😍
Honestly for a we, it’s pretty impressive
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt I may have to grab one.
@@wildsurvivaluk definitely do mate. It’s a lovely piece. I think crw do a fully traded one, but it’s a lot of money
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt 👀👀 ohhh I might have a look into it.... how much we talking? 🤣🤣
Sorry, it was octagon that do it, not crw, it’s about £250 😬
I used to own one of these and they seem to be made by a company known as Savia. Haven’t heard much bout them but they do make hi capa parts from what I’ve seen on JKarmy. Heard the AA x T8 staccatos are better than the Savia ver. Haven’t gotten my hands on one yet but i got one pre ordered & sold the other one. Also found your channel through your p226 series, I really enjoyed them! Keep up the good work
Yes, I noticed the oem on the box, I have a AA Staccato XL which so far I consider the best superior to this version in operation, however externally, I think this one has the edge imo. Thank you for the kind words! :) I have some interesting builds on the way and currently filming so keep your eyes peeled for new videos!
The AA version is sold under 6mmproshop name in the US.
@@pspmaster510ah great to know, strange how they’re re-branded for different markets
that the nova grip on there mate or stock?
The emg have it stock being fully licensed :)
i had the desert warrior a good few years ago and i loved that, im not so sure on the OD 🤔
Yeah it’s different 🤷🏻♂️
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt it's an acquired taste i think on a pistol.
Please do a review, a review and how to take care of this im mostly worried for the O-rings and the rubber gas router wearing out, would like to know how to properly care for this rifle!
A review is coming, I’m currently waiting on parts as I’m having small gas efficiency issues, linked with some of the items you listed above 👍
great review thank you
here from hrc 👍
Great to have you 👍
😍 love this
😍
Iwant one where thank you
It’s a full custom built guarder build. You need a base pistol, and need to buy the parts 👍
make a video on lubing it
I just put a straight trigger and short stoke on my gen3 19. it required way more fab than I thought but I love dremeling crap. fav past time. what did you need to do to fit this trigger. I just ordered a few stippling head to perform my 1st stipple job. I also customize all my frames to fit my hand except my real p80 which is the best lower I've ever had. I going to order a Janus g19 style frame for a build I'm going to do. I might reach out to ask a question or two at that time. I hope you don't mind. you seem extremely knowledgeable about the Glock gbbr. much obliged and what a wicked pocket gbbr. I love it!!! cheers
For what I recall the trigger was a fairly easy fit, a small amount of filing required, but generally it went together well. Stippling is a really fun skill to learn. I’ll be putting up a video of a stipple job I did on the hk45 build very soon, I recommend trying the iron out on a random piece of plastic before committing to doing a frame though :) Absolutely no problem at all, I’m happy to help where I can and give advice. Yeah I’ve built a few, I have two all steel g17’s a lkt Loki slide all steel g17, a all steel g23 and all steel g26 (with another on the way) so I’ve got a bit of experience with them however I keep learning from them as they always seem to throw up a new issue I haven’t come across on each build I do lol Thanks for the kind words :)
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt that's great. I had to dremel a relief area on the inside of the trigger guard as well as remove some length of the trigger itself to get it to work on my EF Glock 19. totally worth. flat trigger fan!!!
I’m not a huge fan of flat triggers actually 😂 But it works on this custom build
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt yes sir you are right about it working for this. thank you so much for all the info and responding. its so appreciated and nice to get answers when you ask. cheers friend
holy crap!!! this build is so sano!!! what a killer little pistol. I have my umarex g42 are they similar to the 26 model? you have great taste this just looks so cool and its so modded. wicked gbbr cheers
Thanks, it’s one of my faves, and was a labour of love to build. No the g42 is very different internally to the 26 (in airsoft) they’re based around the same type of system (internal hammer etc) but internally very different.
i just cant understand the hi-capa thing. im not super up on them but for 25-maybe 30 rounds vs 19-21 for most other pistols that are replicas of real ones. im also not a 1911 or even 2011's i just think that if you spend hundreds of dollars in upgrades are they that much better than your TM or EF glock or walther pistol. people that want wild stuff i can see but they dont do anything for me. i run EF glocks,19,42 45 usp-c pps m2 ppq m2 and an ics wdm compact not M18 x carry and I have only had 1 problem and its was the cheapest PPS m2 but having real Glocks the realism is pretty dang good. this isn't a bad looking pistol but I wouldn't prefer it my EF's. the best looking gun was just released in t4e,.177 pellet but the airsoft is a fixed slide. unbelievable its the Walther PDP compact and way they only are doing non-blowback is crazy. its so amazing looking. sorry I felt like venting. thanks for possibly giving a crap lol.. do you have any EXPIRIENCE with EMG?. I just hear unhappy people complain. well again thanks cheers from the states. 80% of u.s. police use glocks
I’ve dabbled in the whole hi capa world, and being a fan of 1911’s one of the easiest ways to get a reasonable gas capacity out of a 1911 style pistol is by using a hicapa imo. But yes, I’m really more of a glock guy 😂 Yeah I believe elite force is a sub brand of umarex, and over here all of officially licensed glocks/hk/walther range is branded as umarex and mainly produced by vfc (and a couple of other brands) iirc. I’ve done a recent overview of the umarex (Ef) glock 18c, if you haven’t seen it, definitely check it out. I’ve had a little experience with emg previously, but again usually they aren’t the people making the products, they just are able to sell certain products under license (this is my understanding of the situation) I have a Barrett fieldcraft (my only non gas airsoft gun) that’s emg and it was produced by aps.
@@Gasblowbackairsoftt you are correct. im an umarex fan. they have a very very large market share and they make 1000's of items. yes I DEFINATELY will check out the 18c. I hope you didn't think it matters that I am not a hi-capa fan. each his own : }
Absolutely no problem at all, we’re all different! I’m not massively into the hi capa scene, because I find the glock builds much more challenging, hi capa’s just go together and work perfectly most of the time. However I do appreciate a decent one :)
