Otis Buttstock Cleaning Kit
Просмотров 3943 года назад
This is the Otis .223 Cal / 5.56 NATO Buttstock Cleaning Kit. It fits into a K.E. Arms KP-15 WWSD 2020 WWSD 2021 lower receiver.
I ran these on a 2011 chevy 2500 duramax and plowed snow. Amazing tire
This is the RF11 or the RF12?
I get the top rail not bring same plane. But how can you expect a D-section handguard to match a circular-section upper?
Hi 1- road noise/ tire noise on highways ( on a scale from 1-5?) 2- are they good in snow? 3- performance off road? Just got a new Wrangler and i’m shopping for tires :)
I have them on a 2005 Prado. Noise in Highway is low to medium, I live in a place with no snow, so, can't help you there. They excel off road. I have used them i'm sand, fire roads, gravel roads, some river crossings and irregular terrain. Hace not used them in extremeky muddy conditions. Have had them for 5 years and about 40k kilometers.
What does the manufacturer recomend?
Thanks for the charging tip, explains why my battery was not charging fully
Thats odd but i see the complete lo-drag upper on their website shows the height difference too. Perhaps they have a reason.
Cool I just got 4 used ones with like new treed. $50 each
My dad's have over 100k miles on his par. He has hade them on his truck for 14 years there a little dry rotted and have about 25% tread left. Probably the best tire I've seen
I have the ATM2 on xc90, done over 60k miles and still about 50% life. Amazing
Thank you! Putting together the buttstock kit for my KE lower and this was helpful!
Another dumb question.... I would rather hook up the connector rings(and leave them on) instead of the alligator clips, and hook it to that side groumding bolt connected to the frame. Ok...now if I unscrew that bolt to put it on...is there a nut on the other side that I cannot see? And will it drop if I take off the bolt? OR is it just a bolt with no nut? Again I know ..a dumb question THANK YOU
The webpage you showed for the Upper receiver even says 'Be sure to purchase one of our compatible Lo-Drag Palm Handguard'. So its not like you made a mistake in ordering, thats pretty crappy on LuthAr's part. I just ordered this hamdguard in 15 inches but for a mil spec upper.
How do you like the 15” handguard. Looking at doing a build and getting that handguard if it’ll clear a bull barrel with a .936 gas block
Hi is there any update?
Tires were upgraded to Hankook Dynapro AT2 one size larger 265/70R17. They ride better because they are have standard load rated sidewalls. Advice is to not get "Light Truck" or "LT" rated tires unless you need them.
Says a lot about their inhouse R&D and quality control if they completely missed that. I mean the whole point is to be monolithic
Got a link to that tool you used ? Or a name ?
I’m getting a “vehicle entered deep sleep mode to conserve battery” on my 2020 Ford Ranger, have you seen this by chance?
I have a 2019 Ranger and it started doing that last winter. Since my battery was under warranty the Ford garage installed a new battery and recommended using a battery tender. I am getting the warning again this winter with a year old battery. I am curious if anyone else has had this problem and found a different solution.
@@BjBeam so I found on RUclips a way to recalibrate the low battery sensor. But turning the key to aux, flash high beams 5 times, then push brakes 5 times. If done correctly the engine light will flash 3-5 times. I can’t remember if it’s 3 times or 5 times, and the tempo is smooth and steady not super fast. It worked for me and the error code went away. Then when I went hunting it got cold and my battery died lol. Stuck in the middle of nowhere, luckily I shared my coordinates prior if no one heard from me by X time and sure enough they showed up and jumped my truck. The battery had failed only after a year old. I did read that Ford has had a bad batch of batteries so I avoided them and went with an Autozone battery, then did the recalibration. Haven’t had any issues since.
@@BjBeam ruclips.net/video/4-Uaf8lNcNo/видео.html I hope this helps!
@@dad3562 thanks. I will check it out. We are having frigid Temps right now so I have the tender hooked up. It also says to turn off ignition or start engine before I even put the key in. On my old Ranger it would only shut down the battery when I did something stupid like leave on the dome light so when it first started doing this I thought I had left something on. I got one of the first waves of new Rangers so thought there might be some weird electric fluke, but I see the new ones have that issue too.
I was curious if you still have issues with the deep sleep mode? I am going through the same thing. Happened last March, Ford dealer recharged and worked fine for about 7 months. Now doing again. Ford simply says I am not driving truck enough to keep it charged???
Should you use the same set up for attaching a trickle charger?
Yes. There is a document regarding this circulating on the Ranger5g forums, but can’t be linked from here. - also for jump starting.
Love it. What brand is it? That looks perfect for us vertically challenged people 😉
Thanks. What pressure do you end up running them at?
Right now I’m running 34 psi cold.
Those are spec'd at 30psi on my Ranger FX4. Mine don't have the three peak snowflake though 😔
@@ejhayes76 That is correct. Your tire is a “Standard Load” tire. My tire in the review is a “Light Truck” tire with load range C. Air pressure recommendation on the door placard is 38 psi. FYI: your tire is a little smaller than mine at 31” diameter. Mine is 31.6” in diameter. My spare tire is “Standard Load.”
42psi
