can fans stand at European games? Why differentiate the domestic from the European?
Simple. UEFA regulations require the stadium to be all-seated. There is nothing to stop a club installing modern terraces with crush barriers designed in accordance with the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds, but any such area would have to be closed for UEFA competitions. Rail seating offers the necessary flexible solution.
Why exactly are UEFA regulations this way? Do you think it may change in the future to allow safe standing during matches?
