Introduction to cellular metabolism in immune cells by David Finlay
Immunothrombosis, a classic problem with modified RNA vaccines. Easiest solution is to avoid.
Thank you for the elucidating lecture! Much appreciated from Indonesia. One little rookie question though: I haven't been able to have access to a reference/literature that stated TCA/OXPHOS takes more time than glycolysis to produce ATP. Is it just a matter of longer pathway or more organelle involved, or are there an objective quantitative study regarding the timing needed to produce ATP? And is it logically worth it for immune cells to cut out time rather than "sacrifice" more time to gain more ATP and hence more energy for killing stuffs? Thank you for your attention Mr. O'Neil and all immunometabolism team!
Interesting
Very informative, good job!
