If you know the Monkees backstory of how they came to be the movie actually does make sense. Both of these analogies make perfect sense when talking about the group now having said that, basically I’d say about 80% of what you see in the movie symbolizes what I talked about the resentment the four of them felt, the reason I say 80% is because they were also looking at it as an opportunity to leave behind the fans who made them what they were up to that point before the movie, they were also trying to appeal to a more adult, contemporary audience, namely, the hippie movement that was going on at that time hence showing footage of the Vietnam war, as well as having people from Hollywood in the film that unlike what they had for the TV show were more darker scene in the movie where Davy is a boxer, and Mike is a fight, racketeer, lone shark, the woman who was kind of Mike’s trophy, wife was actually a topless dancer who was well known in Hollywood. There was even one reviewer who referred to the film as a cinematic kiss off on the monster, they created, probably referring to not just. Micky, Davy, Peter, and Mike, but to Bob Rafelson, and the powers that be behind-the-scenes that were in charge of the Monkees. Anyway hopefully this kind of sheds some light on this subject I apologize for the wordiness of my response, but this is one of my favorite movies as a fan of the Monkees.

You know with your autism, are you ever not too keen or not keen or large social things or in crowds in like large holiday family groups or in restaurants and things because I struggle with that too or in big social events at school maybe either Or with friends before sometimes Or never quite sure with myself sometimes too or with making decisions do you ever have trouble with that when’s there a choice on something similar to that? And have you ever seen a hammer horror film called vampire circus before which is a good one I think that you could like or do you like to watch horr for particularly or are you interested in them? Or interested in hammer films or hammer horror films or amicus if you’ve heard of them before? They around from the 1950’s, 1960’s to around the mid 1970’s but then later on in the year 1980 there was a programme called hammer house of horror and another one called hammer house of mystery and suspense like an anthology series and there was also an anthology series called journey to the unknown with one episode which did star Jane Ashe ruin it too called somewhere in the crowd. Or have you heard of any older programmes like man about the house, new Scotland Yard, follyfoot , junior showtime, T bag, the tomorrow people, miss jones and son, and mother makes three or and mother makes five, emmerdale farm, crossroads, butterflies, mr Trimble, animal kwackers or Jamie and the magic torch. And don’t worry I’m not trying to ask you or pressurise you with too many questions or anything and I know I’ve mention quite a lot of television programmes there too but I’m not being forceful or anything.

An impressive body of work for such a short life...she was a very busy actress.

And sometimes I worry that I’m a bit strange or weird sometimes but then I’m fine if I’m reassured regularly too when I’m feeling upset about something also.

I have autism too and it’s hard sometimes for me to maybe understand what people are talking about and I do worry about people a lot by asking if they’re okay a lot sometimes and before too. And I think I have similar interests to you maybe because I like things like old 1970’s television programmes and the Beatles too And other 1970’s bands and people like Jane Asher who I’ve seen her in some films too And there’s a also a teenagery drama growing up film called deep end 1970 1971 that she’s in too with the actor John moulder brown to recommended.
