Bosrijkse Brouw is a real good beer, especially on a summer evening on the terrace. Efteling serves all beers on the right temperature. I don't think they have them colder then they serve it usually.

@@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL I haven’t been to most of these! Only toverland during winter once and Efteling which has been my number one since young! But I find the video a good kind of theme park recommendations!

We will first rank all the coasters in the park. It is worth visiting. The Netherlands has a lot of nice Themeparks. So much, you could make a complete RUclips channe out of it 😆

Which parks did you visit? And more importantly do you already have plans to return to the Netherlands again?

@@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL we visited Walibi in Belgium as well. Also Toverland, Bobbejaanland, Phantasialand, Europa Park, and our favorite, Efteling. We will be back to visit Efteling again in December for Danse Macabre. Cannot wait! 😁

I know what u mean about a mix in the UK Katie . I could only tell u my own height in feet and inches as I'm of the middle age...but my kids heights I only know them in centimetres as it is always that they measure in hospital appointments and that what they know themselves 😂

Maybe but when you look objectively then Efteling has a lot of places to cool down. If you compare Efteling to Disneyland then Efteling has a lot water rides with Piranha, Archipel and the Vliegende Hollander. Not to mention all the decorative fountains you can also play with on the Pardoes Promenade, the Goose girl, the new buckets at Ruigrijk.

@@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL Sure, but I wouldn't mind seeing a log flume in the Efteling. Perhaps in the new part. Intermingled with a mine train perhaps. Someone can probably think of how that can integrate with some fable, legend or fairtytale. Actually, the mine theme already is in the Efteling. But I suppose they could make it the Dunetrain (Duintrein). In line with the Drunense Duinen. Make shifting sand in the parts where you go through. How you you would theme the logs is another thing. Oh well.

We can see those rides fitting very well but seeing Efteling wants unique experience that are not in neighboring parks we don’t see that happening soon.

They speak very good English, so no problem.

The park aims to communicate in four languages: Dutch, English, German and French. Most employees speak English as well. In the fairytaleforest all fairytales have a book with a short synopsis of the fairytale you see. Caro is language independent. There might be a problem with some other shows but we’re sure you’ll get the story (or just skip them). There is a nice online print out booklet with many translations as well on the website An Englishman’s Guide To The Efteling . If you can’t it your self send us an email (nlthemeparks@gmail.com) and we’ll send you the link. Do you really want to learn some Dutch words we advise to use Duolingo to learn some basics.

A freebie video is a great idea. We don’t have that one yet. We have an actual list of these free items but are working on a way to show them to you. Stay tuned and thank you so much for sharing your video idea.

Yes I think that is a great idea for an efteling video. @wardcollector if you haven't seen it yet the children meal in a few of the catering outlets comes with a fairytale forest toadstool "mushroom" bowl you can keep ... I think !! Going to try and get that soon as it looks so cute

Yes that’s the usual here in Themeparks too. Great fun but not the vibe that fits Efteling. I can see a scary fairytale forest though with extra mist and creepy sounds. That would be very cool.

The end of January and the entire month of February during week days but mind that in that period there is also a lot of maintenance since the park is open every day of the year they do most maintenance in low season.

We love all those small details as well. The level of theming is tremendous. Thank you for the compliment. Koen is an English teacher. We are so glad he wants to be our voice over for these videos. 😀

In the ride itselve are also so many small details. The wailing women come out of a steam pipe that actually blows out steam at the same time, and when they leave they open the door of a barrel, while the machine on the right of you is almost exploding. I just noticed it lately, because earlier I was just so excited for the drop I hadnt time to process everything

Oh absolutely there is so much eye for detail in the storytelling. Did you know there is even a statue of Maria in the shaft. This because this is common in the mining world! All these details make this ride so much more then just a rollercoaster

The soundtrack is a masterpiece. Which information was new for you?

@@DutchThemeparkNetworkNL the "broken" lift with the test seat, the boilers in the photo booth, and most of all, the big wheel on top of the lift hill that starts going backwards once the train drops... never noticed this, but will definitely look out for it on my next visit!

Great information about Dutch snacks thank you. we always find the food in Efteling is fantastic quality . Totally agree those warm and fresh stroopwaffles are so good!! Looking forward to trying Unox hotdog never had that before , will try the lovely looking food stall near the entrance as well , we have always rushed past that on entry to the park but looks like it worth a stop to get those snacks featured and it’s a brilliant tip to try that around Aqua Nura time, would be great for snacks for waiting for the show to begin. The Dutch hot snack walls are a thing of genius , I love that there are 3 locations of them 😊🌷

The food at Efteling is very good. They put a lot of effort in differentiating the food offer in the last few years. We’ve seen a lot of new food items appear on the menu, mostly suiting the area they are sold. We have more food tours in the planning. So stay tuned.
