Passing the test is easy getting a job is the hardest, trust me this is a wild goose 🪿 chase. I would say don’t waste your time and money maybe do something else this a very hard profession to get into. Think hard before doing this course.
Wilbert, thanks for the comment. Yes, I agree depending on where you live… for instance in California, the pay rates are high (up to 80k) so In turn, is the competition… Because with just a high school diploma you're getting paid more than people who went to a 4-year university and have a bachelor's degree. You gotta look at it that way for it to make sense, but once you're in you’re in; work experience is king in this job.

on your website im trying to access your free exam questions when I click on the link on your website where it says FREE PRACTICE it takes me to a page that says no email or login necessary click start to begin but there's no start button just an empty blank white space. Theres also no other clear indication of where to access the free test prep questions. I believe this is a glitch in your website. Hey, I have a quick question! I bought the 9th edition textbook and workbook. But I found a book on Amazon called "CRCST EXAM TEST PREP 2024-2025. IT IS 158 pages. Can I use this book too to pass the exam or is it not a good reliable book. Tyvm. Appreciate it.

Yes, my notes should do the trick. I don’t see them changing the exam unless they update textbook. They might change some of the bonus 25 questions that are not weighted against the exam, but that’s about it. and yes, inside of my course there are free resources that I have compiled, including the Quizlet flashcards set that helped me pass and a link to a fully digital 6th edition workbook with hundreds of questions.

Thank God I passed it in my first attempt. It was challenging but thank God I passed with a 95%.

Personally, It took longer than the 6-weeks that they claimed for me.. About 7-8 weeks

What difference between the CSPDT and the CRCT please?
Great video! Does doing the job of Sterile Processing Tech have an age limit.to work or take the exam. I have 2 yrs exp but I'm also 53 yrs old. Have not done the job since 2008 at Florida Hospital Orlando. Tyvm.

passed a couple of days ago. it was easier than I thought tbh. 5.5 or 6 off 10 difficulty. I overstudied. Finished in 1 hour and a half. but this is a good walkthrough. and yea, I'm in New Jersey so they got the packet I sent the next day.

Question, even though im not sure if youll see this lol. Should i wait to purchase these until september when regular testing resumes, or should i go ahead? I have the textbook & my own notes, but im a sloppy note taker. I guess its also safe to assume they may change the test(ing) come september. im really trying to weigh out the options here.
Hey, I got an answer:) It all depends on you… your test taking skills, previous knowledge, and etc. Seeming you already are studying the book you should have nothing to worry about and my notes should give you the extra confidence boost! They can only change the questions so much; the concepts stay the same🤷♂️ besides my notes follow the study new guideline. You could wait but time is money, and imagine if you waited and failed then you’d have to wait twice as long to retake (but I'm sure that won't happen) Lastly, I already have people reporting back to me stating they passed the pilot exam just by studying my notes (no fails). I'm already implementing their feedback in the course. Either way I'm rooting for you😊

Start classes 8/12 .. 6 Month Program. The way you described the room setup had me feeling 😅 but I’ll most definitely look into your notes . And when I hear people say the test is nothing of what you learn in the actual class.. how is it different? Guessing not too much about the tools but the environment around them plus the chemicals and things? Great vid by the way and I’ll most definitely need a solid study technique

Hi, I don’t really understand your question, but if you’re asking if you can be working in a sterile processing department without being in a school the question is yes. A lot of places take volunteers and people without out being certified as-long as you get certified within a certain time frame, this heavily depends on where you live. Big cities and states that have a higher pay for SPD tend to be more competitive to get in to though, so those things (school/certification) help put you on the top of the metaphorical list, experience is king though. I will be making a video about this soon its the number #1 thing hiring managers look for. Thanks for the question; my next video will mention this.

can you explain how you know the exact chapters that are going to be on the test? on the exam content outline there is just the description of how the exam is scored and the concepts included but no where does it list the EXACT chapters necessary to be known in order to pass. tried looking it up on google and couldn't really find a solid answer.
Hi, yeah google wouldn't know; not too many people will read the entire book, take the exam, and from there practically NO ONE will take time to go back and cross-reference it with the chapters and then lastly post about it… except I guess for me, lol. I read the book after the exam and saw the questions pop out to me, theoretically there's questions from every chapter of the book but if it was just 1 or 2 I didn't include that chapter as its not worth redirecting your energy when you can be studying a chapter like cleaning that will have like 25+.

is your course for the CRCST exam good to study for the exam dates in September?
Hi! good question, keep in mind that exam hasn't been seen by anyone yet. Nonetheless, my notes are derived from the 9th edition book that the exam is based off and they touch on key concepts that are mentioned in the exam content outline to be on the exam. Also, HSPA is already releasing the results early from the new pilot exam they tested out for a couple weeks in preparation for the new exam coming in Sept, and I’m getting emails from people saying they passed using my notes and it was a great help to them!
