Bryan's communication skills are born of the guy in Office Space, Tom, who has people skills and takes the specifications from the customer to the software engineer, but he doesn't really. Bryan delivers what the CEO needs to know in a way he can understand. Bryan too has people skills!

Sadly, the manager didn't answer the question about the history. Would have loved to learn why and when that spot. Convenience because of the tracks and being perfectly located to become base leg for landing?

Australian here - we drove in via Fisk in 2018, stopped for gas at that station there! Parked at Fisk - watched for an hour or so - the field had just opened after weather delays in recent days - it was insane, no spacing, 4 wide coming up the tracks, it was nuts. Controller was asking for one mile spacing - didn't get it, she was turning most back, MANY just ignored her and kept on going - nothing she could do. Can't wait for next year - going to Fisk again. The visitors there - they totally left the controllers alone to do their work.

The day I went was fairly busy, but not that crazy. I too will make a return to Fisk. It was a blast to watch them work and watch the line of aircraft come in. I also agree that everyone visiting was great too. Let the controllers be. I was fortunate to have my prearranged interview, or I wouldn’t have dared interrupt them.

@@TheFlyingStampede I bumped the Hero 8 into Timelapse on the way home. So the last clip of the video is the whoops put to good use. On the way there, I turned on my audio recorder, and when I stowed it to the side to keep it out of the way, I bumped the record button and turned it off. I’ve since found the key lock feature so that won’t happen again!
