Dead channel.
The reason the turret machine gun port stands out like he says is because the turret is misshaped. At the lower front Tamiya has the turret tuck back towards the rear. This is not correct. The lower front of the turret should come more straight down. You can easily find pictures of the real thing online to see what I mean. Just compare the real lower front turret in the picture to what Tamiya gives you and you cannot miss it.
Why are these figures painted in gloss? Should be matte finish. You spoke of Tamiya paints, those colors noted are matte finish. Did you put gloss on these figures? And why not any blonde haired Germans? They are supposed to be of the Arian race, right? But cool work anyway. I just bought this kit to put on a Panther diorama.
lot of assumptions here. maybe next time you should build it before doing the video...
Even when it was new (1979) it was not one of Tamiya's more outstanding kits.
I'm planning on buying this. Thanks for the review
I just bought photo etched set for this tank and it does include the details for the lower hull. I hope to get some nice results from it.
I had no real difficulties with mine . It went together easily as it should for a kit of that price .
This is cool
got it out again and will try to finish it this time, I am very impressed with the figures, I figured they would have just stuck in the ones from the M-113 kit, and yes, I also think that the high parts count sucks, and is for no good reason, thank you for this review
thank you for the review
Nice. What color paint did you use? The kit says to use olive drab
Curious whether to get rid of the seam line in the lower hull track wall/well
I just saw this guy, I had to sub, great work!!! You should definitely post again, I build and paint models myself and it isn’t any easy job!
Tanks! ;)
Nice model, looks great 👍
I used Mr Hobby liquid putty for my casting on turret..does job perfect.
I used front connector A18 A17 but not rear A14 as hard to get in when putting top onto the chassis, also added some liquid putty to make cast effect on turret
A good figure set from Masterbox, nice work!
Super Video.
👌👍
Another nice review. This will help a lot
Thank you!
Nice! I've been wanting to do a Russian tank for awhile!
This kit doesn't offer a lot of details. But IMHO it will be a pleasant build.
@@justanothermediocrehobbyis2735 Thanks for the review and tips! Seems Tamiya kits have always been so well engineered and they certainly are a pleasure to build for the most part. Even older kits like this are build and paint simple if "acuracy" is not an issue.
The video is so cool. friend .~ Become a thriving channel. ~ Let's get along. 친하게 지내요. 😉👍😉👍😉👍😉👍
Thank you very much!
Nice review. Thanks for sharing
Try playing some really subtle music. I think it would sound really nice behind your voice
Good idea. Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Will certainly do it.
Damn bro. You haven't been discovered yet. You have all the components of big scale model youtubers. Can't wait until you grow!
Just discovered your channel and subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Your channel is an inspiration to me. Thanks for watching. Hope we can build more models in 2021 :)
