4K Snowiest Mount Adams South Climb + Glissade July 6th & 7th, 2024
Mt. Adams (12300 ft) is the third highest point in the Cascades after Mt. Rainier and Mt. Shasta. This was my 10th Adams Climb and we successfully reached the summit and glissaded down. Also, this was the snowiest Adams I have ever seen in July.

South Sister is the the 3rd tallest volcano in Oregon State after Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. It was me and Ian Lance. We climbed the mountain on June 22, 2024 in full snow which made it more challenging. Without snow, we did it in August 2023 and it was a piece of cake! Not this time. @@arashbarani4622 It’s the tallest volcano in the contiguous US. Kind of like our Damavand but definitely more technical with a lot of glaciers and crevasses.
With a butt like yours, who needs skis!

@@ndmooner if you want the glissade to be nice, leave Lunch counter around 5:30. You will hit the glissade at 10am which will be the best time to hit it.

Well show me a standing glissade and I might be impressed. Granite MTN. has the slope for it if your brave. Yes I did a sitting glissade on St, Helens before it blew up from above dogs head to the parking lot. Nice video.
