I saw Sunny Gale at a Danny Stiles Big Band Dance Party at the Holiday Inn North, in Newark NJ, around 1987-88.

Greatest version in my opinion. If you notice, that reissue LP had an engineering flaw at the beginning of the song. You should hear a harp playing a quick intro, then it starts where this LP starts it.

OMG 😱 THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I have been searching high and low for this particular version by this artist. I only knew the name of the song but didn’t know who it was sung by as there are soooo many cover versions out there. The reason this means so much is I bought this as a Vinyl LP for my Mum back in 1981 or 1982 for Mother’s Day 💐 from a market stall my school set up for us to buy gifts for our Mum. We used to play it and sing along to it often. My Mum passed away 6 years ago. Some of her vinyls got lost in transit this being one of them. I wanted to listen to it again to relieve some of the great memories this album gave me. And now thanks to you I have it. I am eternally grateful to you. Thank you 🙏🏼
