Before Your Eyes could be somewhere near the list. It's a bit simple and short story, but made in a unique way - you need webcam for best experience, you blink and scene ends, because you watch your memories. And man, did I want to see the scene, but tears made me blink т_т

If you dig the daunting text walls of disco elysium I feel like you will really appriciate the narrative and atmosphere of pathologic 2. Its much harder to get into but definately worth it.

Great video, you have such a relaxing voice :) Disco Elysium really made me look inward too and I enjoyed how 'failures' within skill checks often weren't game ending but added to the narrative / character. Helped me realise that failed roll or not, it's best to keep going. I 100% agree that Disco Elysium, although narratively dense, has such hope nestled within it, it's incredibly encouraging. Love the positivity within this video. (The subtitles are such a nice touch too!)

I feel like such a nitpicker but I guess I'm damaged from work: please upload your subtitles as an srt file instead of burning them onto the video. This makes it possible for people to tweak the caption settings to their needs ❤

Soma is definitely my top 10 and Celeste being my 3rd and outer wilds my most favourite game, I gotta say this is such a perfect list, I only just started disco Elysium the other day after seeing all the praise about it and it hasn’t hooked me yet but I’ll keep trying, I’ve never heard of the beginners guide so I’ll have to also give that a go!
