I just obtained my 2024 107 license and commercial drone, working on getting it legal with remote i.d. while practicing it for a variety of services. My last name is well known with relatives owning a chain of 5 star restaurants in the seafood and steak hospitality buisness in a few various states, Florida, Georgia and north Carolina since 1948 (74 years in operation and still going, local real estate agent in the family and another real estate agent with permission to utilize my last name, mechanic shop with a local pro race car driver all local therefore i have a bit of a edge already. Cant wait untill this gets going a bit stronger.

Three DJI drones? Really? 1) Too pricey for beginners. 2) Geofencing sucks. 3) Models weighing more than 0.55 lbs force Remote ID on the pilot. Way too many better options out there for beginners. You need to give better advice.

This was an excellent presentation on Part 107 operations. Let me add a couple of things I don't think most people are aware of regarding Part 107 operations. If you are using a sub-250 gram as a Part 107 operator, either commercially or recreationally, you must register your drone. You also must have your sub-250 gram drone equipped with and transmitting Remote ID as a Part 107 operator. If a drone requires registration, it must have Remote Id, and since Part 107 requires all drones to be registered, it must be remote ID-equipped. You CAN fly recreationally with a TRUST certificate and a non-registered sub-250 gram drone without Remote Id. But again, if you're like me and only Part 107 certificated, you cannot fly a sub-250 gram unregistered non-Remote ID drone recreationally. The other thing is that no homebuilt UAS qualify for Part 107 operations. They must be factory made with registration numbers assigned.

DJI drones are very dangerous. Vulnerabilities are intentional to spy for the CCP. When you discover it, they will simply tell you they have known about it earlier because they put it there intentionally at the first place.132

Noone in the FPV will tell you to buy the DJI Fpv. There is allot of RTF kwads better than the potato drone.

1,5 year ago i started to fly the mini 2. In december 2022 i bought the air 2s because i wanted bigger files and better photoquality and i have to admit this drone is a beast up in the air. I did not sold my mini 2, it’s now my backup drone in places were i can’t fly the air 2s…solid combination that works fine for me. I can see myself upgrading the mini 2 to the mini 3 pro in the future because of it’s vertical shooting mode 🤔👍🏻
