I have the same printer but the cartridge lamp is constantly on.I've tried all the cartridges and they're all good.I cleaned the cartridge circuits and opposite printer tabs with a rubber eraser still not fixed.Help me please.

I believe that the shutter opener has wax inside it and when the fan is switched on it heats up and expands to open the shutters then when the fan is turned off the heating source is removed from the wax and it cools and shrinks. The big spring would then help close the shutters.
