Pretty sure that you did find Pont Neuf as it's only two bridges over from the Notre-Dame, you can't miss it. You probably just didn't realize that it was Pont Neuf as there's no locks anymore.

going to paris on a weekend trip soon, anything you recommend the most/the least?
The most: Père Lachaise (but take the back entrance with the Gambetta metro station, not the main entrance as it's build on a hill), L'atelier des Lumières, Saint Chapelle, Musée d'Orsay, Le Mur des J'taimes, Villa Léandre, Promenade Plantée The least: go up the Eiffel Tower (she's so much more beautiful and interesting from a distance), go to the Louvre (overcrowded and overrated, there's sooooo many better and less crowded museums)
I would really recommend taking a tour in the Louvre, we took the “my first time at the louvre” and it was a great experience. Only about 2hrs long and got to see a lot!! I also recommend going to the Montparnasse Tower, you get a 360° view of the city, the bad thing was that when we went it was really cloudy and windy but the overall atmosphere is cool! You could also get a really great view of the Eiffel Tower from the rooftop at the Galleries Lafayette and it’s free! It really depends on what you’re interested in, to me, the cemetery and the catacombs weren’t my favorites! The cemetery isn’t super close to the rest of Paris, but if you have the time it’s a cool place, same with the Catacombs.
@@NikkivanZoom Dear Nikki, I must say I agree with most of your recommandations but honestly, even though I totally agree with you once again with the Louvre being overcrowded, you can't say it is overrated, unless you did not thoroughly visit the museum, which takes day if you want to do so. Of course, seeing Mona Lisa is disappointing because you can't see it properly because of the crowd. But there are major works of Art in all the museum 🙂
