Hey, Im looking to do these quad enduro things (they called Scrambles?) and dont really know how to get into em. Im 15 and have a 07 LTR450 and live in Central GA and was wondering if you had any tips of where to look for to get started into the sport.
Southern roots tour has a good XC series around that area. Go jump in trail riders for maybe 3 races and just focus on finishing the race and not so much about speed to get a feel for it. Do not cheap out on gear. Run a good helmet very minimum anything MIPS rating. Fly racing and Bell have good ones for cheap. Definitely run good Roll offs. Scott prospects or 100%. Hydrate really well the day before and the day of the race. Carb load on anything that has noodles in it the day before. The morning of don’t eat anything greasy. A lot of people say a peanut butter and jelly sandwich does the trick right before the race. After you get a feel for it jump into 16-24 C and start competing in Work on your way up. If you’re willing to travel to the MidEast series I highly recommend it.

Dude what are your settings for your gopro I'm lucky to get 1 hr of footage and parts of the track were not as well marked as they said they where
I’m running the 7 white in a waterproof case. The 7 so far seems to be one of the best and I don’t run an extended battery. If you come see me at the track I can show you to little things I did with mine that for some reason makes it record for 2+ hours every time.

Yeah I got a new one. Just getting used to it and playing around with it this race. I’m too heavy for that suspension unfortunately.
I was right behind you at 1245 when you hit the guy stuck in the tree! That was actually me at 1344 on the red Honda, i was gassed at that point!
I remember seeing you on a red 400EX. I had terrible suspension issues. I was finishing around the 30’s in overall now I’m in the 50’s.
I seen you during the race you had your name on the back of your Jersey. I ran the trail rider class since this was my first ever race and I was on an old 1999 400ex Honda. I got top 50 in the overall and won trail riders by 18 minutes. I didn't want to jump in vet b or vet c this far in the season and mess up points for anyone.

@@Bright_116 what exercises do you do for arm pump? I've only raced twice and the arm pump I got in the tight sections really slowed me down
@@jeffgayzose8129 I fought it bad last year. Honestly conditioning by riding as much as possible will help you the most. Last year was horrible for me and arm pump this year hasn’t been bad at all.
