Hey I have a doubt regarding Nift i just finished my 12, everyone is saying that college is expensive. When people mention that it’s expensive, are they referring to the fees of around 14 lakhs, or are there additional costs we need to consider? I’m asking because I plan to take an education loan for the fees, and my only financial support is from my brother. I don't want to keep asking him for money once I start college. If there are any additional costs beyond the fees, please let me know so I can discuss them with him in advance. i hope you can understand what i am asking
Can't give you a correct estimate but for general category seats the fees go around 1.5 lakhs per Sem, which makes the 4 year amount to something more than 12-13 Lakhs. And depending upon your dept your additional costs change, like Fashion Designs Students have to spend a lot more than lets say what Fashion Communication Kids might have to spend. So, putting an estimate is a difficult task.

Yes absolutely, it is not necessary that you have to prepare for two years or any specific time period for that matter. There are quite some examples wherein with only one to two months of preparation, aspirants have cracked these examinations. So, you need not worry, 6 months is a good enough time period to have :)

I have a question for you brother If you have to choose between nift delhi and nid ap what would you have chosen
Hey, It would depend on what department you are interested in. Apart from that in NIFT you get to select your department from the very start, whereas in NID your department is decided in your second year according to the marks you score. So you would have to think about these points and what you are willing to risk in order to take a decision on this.
