i think one can only move to the effect groups by holding down e.g. the left switch and pressing the right to go to the distortion effects or reverb effects etc. Still only maybe e.g. only 5 button presses instead of 25 or more.

i think setting the delay module to Bypass should be possible with the select knob

Boss cube sheet? You got G1x pedal through your computer? I bought one from guitar center months ago still have figured how to patch sound. I have no idea what LMT-6 or Gt GEQ7, EP Stomp, etc. Wtf is Spring?? FD Spring? Endless.

@dannyhood4007 many multi fx maybe have too much different effects which sometimes aren‘t so different at all😂. I mainly use DAW plugins rn

HI, I have one of these ordered to use with a Coolmusic busking amp. Do you have any advice in regards to using cab sims with a busking amp? Currently I'm using an ancient Digitec RP50 with the cab sims off and it actually sounds pretty good, so yeah, just wondering if you have any advice. I use mostly clean(ish) and bluesy tones. Thanks!

At the time at least, yes. Seems nuxefx forgot this feature for the footswitches and meanwhile they have a new model, i think MG-400, so if the MG-300 will still get updates i don't know. ( i use mainly plugins currently, so my MG-300 went to a 2nd hand ).

you can set every effect slot to Bypass, quicker to do with the editor probably

it worked with an iPad, didn‘t try Android ( android recording apps are often lacking )

cabs are separate effect blocks, so you can leave them out or replace with e.g. an EQ.

At least i still like it. And there is another lesser point, which wasn't intentional but is now obvious. I'm sure it would be hard or impossible to sell it. This means, this one i'll keep in any case. And i think most owners of E-Guitar(s) will agree, that there is often this thinking about "some new gear". I'm not a collector of e-guitars and don't want to become one.

@@glbkst I just picked up one of the blue DC Fat, and I’m planing on dropping in a Lollar 50’s wind tall P90. Think it will work out well.

@@RexCoggins Fat variants seem a bargain now, but when i bought it they were 50% more expensive and more importantly i had doubts about the thicker neck.

it's true the P90 sound is very similar to a humbucker, but it has a lower output and with an at least similar noise level, the signal/noise of a P90 must be worse. It all depends of course.

@@glbkst ive learned to move away from the noise an theres over wound available , also p90 sized humbuckers , but the beauty of it all is we can do what we want w our guitars . I too have done mods that forever changed origional design and made outhers cringe to the quick

It's all about the playability. For the optics there are better guitars than a HB DC Junior.

What do you mean he ruined it? It looks fantastic. Humbucker in this thing would be a brutal guitar.

@@Joe-mz6dc It now has a humbucker. A low cost Roswell Zebra by the way ( i don't want to engage in advertising gear though , don't believe in "pickup magic" ). And the output of it is of course higher than a P90 can have, but a boost can compensate that i guess. But I don't know the stacked P90 humbucker version, might be the same. It has a thicker neck, which i didn't want, admittedly i don't know how much thicker.

No one can say what's right for you but you... Looks awesome and if it brings you happiness and let's you make music all the better

it depends on the goal i think: a) for a full bypass of all effects or multiple effects at once, probably the said "empty bypass patch" or changed patch would be needed and also more simple regarding handling than b) in the stomp mode one can enable/disable single effects e.g. the amp with the footswitches, but for multiple effects this would be cumbersome due to the necessary "scolling" with one footswitch and enable/disable with the other. For the G1 four i'd have doubts for the usefulness of the stomp mode.

i found while mostly it makes no difference if a noise gate is at the beginning of the chain or after an Amp , sometimes it is easier to set the threshold. It depends, i guess.
