Romans 3 : 21 - 23 tells us about the righteousness of God apart from the righteousness which is from the law which has been revealed to us through Jesus Christ. Only Jesus Christ walked on rhis earth without sinning and therefore fulfilled the demands of the law of Moses for righteousness whilst in a body like we sinners have on our behalf. There is nothing that we an do on our on power to earn righteousness but to believe in Jesus Christ. That is why in John 3 : 16 it is written: FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE." Man is saved only by believing in Jesus Christ and committing their lives to him. Not by obeying any laws or commandments. Yes he or she has to live a righteous and holy life by being baptized with the Holy Spirit and being led by Him.

When a person prays a sinner's prayer in accordance with Romans 10 : 9 - 13 and becomes born again in his or her spirit his or her sins are completely forgiven. The sin nature is removed and that person receivies the righteousness of God which comes from Jesus and is reconciled back to God. Ellen G White was born a sinner just like everybody else. She misled and her heretical writings and prophecies continue to mislead millions of people worlwide. Such people believing her false doctrine die unsaved and become candidates of hell. Those who took care of the burial details after she died decided, for whatever reason, to put it there. It doesn't detract from all the good she did. Have you read her books? Some of her books may have the inspiration of the Holy Spirit because she frequently plagiarized Christian authors and claimed they were her own words given by special revelation.
