The artists and craftsmen who live and work in Bussana Vecchia, made the Italian Jewel Bussana Vecchia to what it is today: an oasis of creativity, a unique and thoroughly special place in the world.
Since November 2017, however, the Italian Department of State Property (Demanio) is calling them ‘occupiers’ instead of praising the artist´s community for reconstructing the village and keeping it alive. The "Bussanesi" now fear that they might loose their homes that they rebuilt from the ruins.
The filmmakers of this documentary are trying to summarize the injustice that had been faced to the people of Bussana since 1887. We would love to bring attention especially to the actual situation ...
