Vid of my mate Simon taking the Red Gazelle down Sixhills hill near Market Rasin. This is the second run, the first was aborted due to a tractor in the road. The hill is fairly long, it continues going down for another mile or so after where he had to stop for a car.

Onboard vid of me going down the hill at belchford onboard my cart called Red Gazelle. I believe it was the fastest run of the day before penalties at around 52 seconds but I sadly hit 2 barrels in the 'feature' at the bottom of the hill.

OK, you posted this ages ago and I am just finding it now in 2019, but...wow! You are absolutely hurtling along. It is hard, from where I am sitting (staring at my laptop screen - jaw agape) that it is possible to propel yourself at such speeds with just pedal power. You have convinced me that the velomobile is a viable alternative to the bicycle, especially for a commute. My daily is comparable to yours, 50 km 2 or 3 times a week and 30 km for the remainder. I think, from what I have been able to gather, even now, still the MilanSL is still the one to pilot if you really want to go like a rocket. Thanks for the upload - still there all these years later!

Fantastic build, nice to see it in action! (For those who haven't seen it, Lee documented the fairing construction on the British Human power Club website, bhpc dott org -- search for "Lee Wakefield 4-Week Fairing". The entire front fairing lifts for easy in and out.)

Hi there, Are you still riding your velomobile? If so, I wanted to inform you the Velo-city conferences will be organized in France next year. Velo-city is the main event for institutional urban cycling policy. As there should be some velomobile or recumbent presentations we plan to show off at Velo-city through a velomobile meeting. Velomobiles would get from all over Europe and meet in Angers for a alltogether ride to Nantes on June 1st. Of course, we will try to get a media coverage. Then, there would be another together ride in Nantes on June 2nd, which is the opening day of Velo-city event. The aim is to get more attention from the politics and the cycle path designers on velomobile and recumbent specificities. We expect 30 velomobiles, maybe more. => would you like to join us? Do you know other velomobiles or recumbent owners in UK who could be interested in such an event? Any help is welcomed!

With a great music it would be so much better! I think it can be done simply in youtube interface without losing to many times. I'd like to have one here in Brazil but it may cost twice the price in other countries :-/

WOW! Those slaloms can be tricky. Are they to show maneuverability on top of speed? We have "Gravity Races" here but they are coasting down hill, have to have 4 wheels on the ground in any configuration and rider and machine cannot exceed 350 lbs.
