My first animatic :D!! I really love this song and while listening I realized the lyrics fit these two so well?? You can turn on captions to see them! I had to get my vision out and wanted to put all my RokuShi feelings into this aaa relived suffering as I looked at references to draw the scenes,,,
The project ended up being more work than I expected but I'm happy how it turned out, I legit got the ToonBoom Storyboard Pro trial for 3 weeks to give myself a deadline LMAO
Always wanted to make somethin like an AMV,, kinda annoyed I had to nightcore it just to get it to upload tho WHEEZE hope you guys like it tho !!

thank you!! Ahh, I think it was that she got captured and reprogrammed to attack Roxas because Xemnas wanted one of them to control so she was the last boss (but I believe she secretly wanted Roxas to beat her? and she was glad ;v;)
I know it’s just a theory, but I think that Xion was holding back in the battle against her, because if you think about it, Roxas had almost all his power drained by Xion, so he shouldn’t have been very strong and she should’ve been able to beat him easily, but Roxas ends up winning, which leads me to believe that Xion wasn’t using all her power on purpose so that Roxas would win.

Ohhhh the feels!! This is so beautiful, everything about this actually got me real emotional and all. ^^ I looked up and read through the lyrics of this song afterwards and wow! I realized how right you are with how much they fit those two. It's sooo good, I love finding new songs with lyrics that just seem so RokuShi-coded. ^^ ("I told you to forget me, but you stayed by my side." Just, YES!😭) Honestly, if a friend were to ask me why/what I love about RokuShi (which would normally prompt me to prepare something akin to an entire presentation/essay, love them so much ^^), then this animatic of yours might very well be the first thing I'd show them to be like: "There! You get it now, right?!" It just captures their story and dynamic in such a cute and beautiful way! @@FrostyPhoenyx Hehe yeah, I'd definitely say that those feelings came through really well! ^^ Everyone has their own ways to express such things and it's always great to see that. Like, I wouldn't say I'm particularly good with words either most of the time ^^ (except sometimes for like 5 minutes where I suddenly come up with out of nowhere, corny sounding stuff like: "...and now I can't help but refer to Xion as Roxas's sunlight/sunshine because his [358/2] DAY[s] started with meeting Xion and his [358/2] DAY[s] also ended when he lost Xion, after which he moves on from a town in perpetuel twilight onto a city that always seems to be in a permanent state of nighttime. So she is literally his sunlight/sunshine!" A comment I made somewhere else, triggered purely because a song in another RokuShi video I watched ended with "Fall into your sunlight", but when I actually take my time and sit down specifically to write something, nothing happens lol ^^). As for the topic of other RokuShi-coded songs: While it may not be quite as incredibly fitting as "Everything Goes On" (still in awe how accurate that one is!), personally I've come to REALLY like "Die For You" from Starset. It's a bit more abstract at times I suppose, but the lyrics work pretty well in some way I'd say! ^^ (I totally didn't already try to figure out and assign Roxas and Xion lines in that song as if they were singing it as a duet, haha who would ever do that am I right ^^ *starts to sweat nervously*)
