Copper bullion should be sold by 100 lb bars bullion.

I would say that copper is okay to have. Maybe like 300-500 dollars worth of it. That is a lot of copper coins. I would have it in fractional sizes for trading purposes if needed. I asked a coin dealer once if he even bothered with copper coins and he just laughed, so no it's not really taken seriously. It is probably just good to have on the side. If you want to be more serious with copper, it would be better to get into scrap metal recycling, whether you are just collecting a pile of copper scrap in your back yard to someday sell or if you are actively looking for scrap metal to take to a recycler, or if you do the recycling yourself. All of those are the better routes to take when it comes to copper. Good to have in case you need to buy a beer or a bag of beans in the apocalypse or if you want a neat coin to look at, but not good to always be buying in my opinion.

You forgot one BIG factor to consider: WEIGHT vs. price. To have any signficant investment in copper, on some kind of par with silver, you'd have to hold God only knows how much copper!

Don’t invest in base metals. Only invest in precious metals. Full stop. Copper is semi-valuable true, but base metals are for the have-nots. In a world where the dollar goes bye-bye, copper will be stripped from everything to buy food and essentials. However there will never be any real wealth building in copper for the masses. Why? Copper is common it is not rare. Just look to previous empires, all base metal coins are for the have-nots, silver is for the wealthy, and gold is for the elites. The British empire was built on silver, the Roman Empire was built on silver. No civilization in history was built on copper. Investing in copper will never make you rich. Copper coinage is a transactional currency, meant for those who live from hand to mouth. In Baltimore city we have copper thieves who steal copper it to buy drugs, it takes several truckloads of copper to make a poverty level meager living. Why would you pay the premiums to stack copper rounds and bars when you can get copper far cheaper at a hardware store in the plumbing section?

I invest in copper as a smaller value trade note. Like a dollar bill. silver is my big notes like 30s 150s and 300s. Gold starts at 300 for 1/10 oz (rough numbers) and goes. I imagine world of warcraft currency lmao

copper is cheaper when buying or just finding copper pennies.

It's a good idea to have a couple because when someone finds your collection. They'll think "what kinda jackass collects fake valuables?". Then they will assume it's all fake and hopefully not take it anyways to start counter fitting.

What about those kitchen decorations you see hanging on the wall, they say those are made out off copper but they never change color like old copper does. They keep their color shiny, are they really 100% copper?

Just collect the circulated bronze pennies/cents at present. Best way to invest in copper then paying ridiculous prices for copper bullion.

Couple of points. 1) a lot of copper gets recycled, not so much for silver. 2) most silver comes as a by product of mining for copper or gold, not many primary silver Mines any more

When this video was released spot price of silver was roughly $23 per ounce, now it's roughly $25 and I might be selling a sealed sheet of 20 1 oz bars at a local show for the spot price. I plan to get that card first though.
