Why Superman is More Important Now Than Ever...
Superheroes have defined popular culture and storytelling ever since Superman made his major debut in Action Comics only a year prior to the start of the second world war. Soldiers used Superman stories to live out fantasies of punching that damn supervillain in the face and foiling their evil scheme. Ever since Superman's creation, Superman has been defined as a figure that stood for the little guy, and stood up against injustices. For decades, Superman has been a incredibly powerful symbol of hope, until recently. Due to how popular media has represented Superman, people have developed a misunderstanding that Superman is a "boring" or "tired" character, that Superman is just a lifeless ...

Psychosis is Creepypasta Perfected
Просмотров 3212 года назад
Psychosis is a short story written by Matt Dymerski, which slowly shows the process of a man's paranoia and delusions slowly taking over him. As the pieces connect he realizes that he truly is the last person with his own free will. Though Psychosis seems to have one true ending, it's important to take a look at the big picture, because when you do, you will realize what truly makes this story ...
Halo Combat Evolved: Changing an Industry
Просмотров 2103 года назад
Bungie was a small studio that started during the early 1990s, after releasing small but fairly successful games, they had started developing Halo, after going through radical changes. Halo: Combat Evolved was released to the Xbox, and with it's release came absolutely massive critical acclaim and many sales. Microsoft in one fell swoop had managed to become one of the biggest gaming companies....
Halo Reach: Heroes Missing in Action
Просмотров 1293 года назад
Halo Reach was the last Bungie Halo game before they moved onto working Destiny. Though it's multiplayer was a mixed bag for me, the campaign is an absolutely phenomenal story that deals with not only war, but the idea of never giving up in a dire situation, themes of sacrificing yourself for the greater good, etc. In this video I try to explain why I love Halo Reach so much and how it creates ...

My first gungeon montage, this is gonna be a trilogy of funny and badass moments in this beautiful indie game thats very quirky and fun.
And the response to the new Superman teaser with articles like " The Superman teaser does the IMPOSSIBLE, It forces you to feel hope again... " proves what you said a year ago is Absolute truth.
I didn’t understand Superman until I watched Superman and Lois. Then I became a die hard fan of his best interpretations and what they represent
38:47 goes extremely hard
Pessimism has been on the rise lately, it's very easy to get your head stuck in so many problems that you wonder what's the point of even existing After Endgame Disney gave superheroes a bad rep, i hope James Gunn's Superman shows the public again why it's cool to be nice
You.... you do know superman isn't actually real right...?
I feel like the older I get Superman, gets more cool, Goku gets less cool. I still watched Superman growing up, but didn't truly realize how he's more complicated than people think he is.
Superman has always been my favorite for a lot of reasons, when I feel down not strong enough or struggling in my life I’ve always read superman comics. Started a lot after my mom died so superman to me is more he’s hope itself
"It's never as bad as it seems. You're much stronger than you think you are. Trust me."
My absolute favorite Superman moment is from the comic Superman Red and Blue (#5), is Superman flying up to the earth, looking down at it and saying “I love you” and then peering over to his most heartwarming smile and then saying “I’m so proud of you”
I needed this video today. Thank you.
,✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
He's okay, but he is nowhere near the league of Batman.
Popularity wise, Superman is still pretty close to Batman. Character wise, both are good characters too.
Im just starting this video. Lets see if his reasons match mine on why we need superman a symbol of hope as the world lean on a darker side. As a people we need morals honestly and a lot of old school values. Lets see.
Manchester Black: Named after a UK city. Has a British accent. Has a giant union jack on his top. Gentle Mushroom : Australian.
On the glasses disguising Superman. I bought some glasses that look like spectacles but they're actually just photochromatic sunnies. The first day wearing them I had multiple people ask me if I'm new in town, I live in a town of under 2000 and I have a big beard and one arm.
Ughh that panel you closed the video off with always makes me tear up 😭beautiful video man!!! 💕
Superman is a symbol of hope and represents the best of humanity. I really hope and cross my fingers when James Gunn's Superman comes out. That the ideals and what makes him such a great character comes back. It would be satisfying.
Just the thought of someone not being able to tell what's happening or not happening and descending into madness is such a disturbing concept regardless of if the protagonist was right or wrong. That's what makes Psychosis such a good story
Good job man. As a life long Superman fan… you did right by the moral and morals of his story.
Luther showed who He was. He had all of Superman abilities for 24 Hrs. He could have made a source of unlimited energy or fixed world hunger or found a way to repair Our Ozone. Instead what did He do he went on a rampage to prove He was better then others. He never would have let anyone have that power and risk someone challenging Him.
Everyone always thinks about what makes him Supe and what he can do with that, but they forget the most important part that he is still just a Man
DC is the “Super”, Marvel is the “Human”
Having some alien asshole "teaching" humans the bullshit moral spectrum has never sit right with me... We humans are the best, by ourselves... The fact that you need an alien to shoe you the "better way" should tell you a lot about you
Get off youtube, Lex.
I spit on Zack snyder works.
i always loved superman , i literally cried...at the end of the video . thankyou so much.
People keep focusing on the Super part, and they forget the man.
Gotta love how when asked about batman killing people in BvS, Snyder pretty much quoted Manchester Black.
I will always be a Superman fan, I latched on to him as a young boy. His ability to fly, his suit colors (Superman is why my favorite color blue.), the fact that he will always be there to save you, and have the power to back it up. I have great respect for Batman, but I choose Superman and his red cape.
I use to not like Superman because of his fanbase and how powerful he was until I went on a man of steel binge and fully understood his character now he’s my favorite superhero
Someone send this video to that idiot Zach Snyder
Love the use of all the Halo music. Especially the Reach music Also, you did not just say MANCHESTER Black is Australian... He's from Manchester, England my guy
The fact that superman is the most human out of all of use despite not even human. . .I was gonna say ironic, but rather I think it's better to say that sometimes we need to look past ourselves to see what we can truly be
I wish they'd make superman the socialist and working class hero he was in the beginning
This is a Beautiful Video, you just got a fan
Ik the world ain’t perfect. But there’s Always hope, the people who bring to life these amazing characters put into the world what they want to see. It’s a good thing we have good characters like Superman to show us the best we could be especially in a world that’s so cynical and wants to see the person next to them fail.
Am I the only one hearing uncle Ben at 34:38
tbh as a person who gets let’s just say dark thoughts about myself i genuinely cried at the end because superheroes are like my one escape from reality. i would do anything to have a superhero swoop down and rescue me from myself. so seeing myself in regan really made me break down great video actually ❤ i love superman too.
I get it now
one thing i want to tell u is this good people always seems boring to others , i love superman
Diiiiiiiid you just call Manchester Black Australian
Whats so Funny About Trust Justice and the American Way is a great comic. Unfortunately, and I always say this, the Animated adaptation ruins it by botching the ending. The whole point of Superman's act was that it was just an act. He was not actually killing them. Just temporarily incapacitating them. And by the same metric, he was not actually acting as "the surgeon" permanently ridding them of their powers. Which is what he does in the animated version, where he says he has depowered them all permanently. Even Black, he mentions in the comic, that the heat/x ray vision trick he used to depower him was only temporary. He leaves them all for the proper authorities to decide what to do. i think the only act he actually does- is he frees Bunny, their living ship, from them, as he somehow communicates with it and finds that they were keeping it against it's will. I think it may have been the same with the creatures that make up Menagerie's powers And that always bothered me, because it really is a decent adaptation, all the way up until the end, where they totally ruin the message.
Superman is lucky to be raised by pure heart parent
Hope never dies, it burns forever.
This video came out a year ago today!
I always imagined Superman’s robots just took Manchester Black into the sky and ripped him to shreds, dropping body parts one by one throughout the world
One of my favourite Superman mini stories is from Red and Blue, it’s the “You are special, I’m proud of you, I love you” comic with it flipping between shots of John Kent and Clark from a baby all the way till John dies before flipping between shots of Superman saying those same words to the people he helps day to day. Final shot is Superman flying out into space and looking on Earth going “I love you, I’m proud of you.” It’s so beautiful
Superman and the Ultra series crossing over has always been a dream of mine. Two super heroes with the same ideal but presented differently between their cultures with the same message. "To those who lend a hand to others, a bright future awaits us all."
Black's actually British ...but hey ...its all good.
still can't tell you how I screwed that up lmao, should've been an easy layup!
this guy is not australian
Manchester black is Australian?!? He literally has Manchester in his name and a Union Jack on this chest 😂😂😂😂
