Patients Rising has very specific mission: We fight for access to vital therapies and services for patients with life-threatening and chronic diseases and to tell the truth about healthcare. If a patient needs a treatment to survive, function and have a better quality of life we believe access to that treatment is essential.
We advocate for patients using programming like Voices of Value, Patients Rising University and informative articles at PatientsRising.org. We focus on magnifying the patients’ voice and making sure healthcare innovation continues to serve the needs of all Americans.

Why is anything with health insurance always a fight?✊💥
Many Vision Benefit Managers (VBMs) control the entire process of making and selling eyewear which often leads to higher prices, limited choices, unfair pay, less competition, and unclear rules. Comment VBM to sign our petition to end abusive VBM practices.

The best!! Ty is incredible 🥰😭 loved watching/listening to this!!!
Love the focus on adaptability especially with a partner who’s been diagnosed. I’m sorry how this diagnosis can unfortunately shift or pause care givers goals. I think we often forget how truly selfless care givers are. Thank you for sharing your experience ❤

Just found this after your IG live yesterday. I have two now young adult boys both with different rare chronic illnesses, dad with FTD and father in law with alzheimers. I have never been able to work outside the home - have always been caregiver to someone.
It's great that the agency was able to pivot during covid. I love the idea of having activity boxes geared towards your loved ones. Sometimes shopping online can be overwhelming. It's hard to determine where to start when searching for activities.
Thank you for a great episode! Appreciate you.
Another great episode Kris! You’re such an amazing advocate and powerful voice for caregivers and patients. Looking forward to the next one!
Always so informative and beneficial for others.
Another success! I love how in each episode you ask what would they tell new caregivers. It is so nice to hear the different things they say... Kris, you are killing it!!!!
Kris, very informative. I always learn so much on your podcast. Keep them come on there’s a lot of us that need to learn.
Very good podcast Kris. I learn so much from you for my cousins caregiving. Thank you
Really interesting and informative podcast Kris. I feel people who have just been diagnosed and their caregivers are better off today more than if it were 5 yrs ago. There is so much more awareness to this awful disease with so many different social media pages and podcasts like yours Kris. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
My heart breaks for LeAnn thinking about the anticipatory grief and also the shattering of her hopes and dreams for her future. Hearing her perspective of caregiving for a spouse was really touching. Thanks for sharing

Thank you LeAnne for sharing your life and journey. My husband has a Traumatic Brain Injury and he doesn’t remember a whole lot from our past (bits & pieces)which started in the 7th grade. It’s not dementia but a lot of memories are gone for him and now it’s just me & the memories. Thank you so much for sharing your life! We are not alone!
Love you girls ❤
