Back in the day first playing story mode i fully tuned both the in game Koenigsegg/overflöd entity xf and the veyron/truffade adder, using franklins special ability maxing out the speedometer and driving on the best roads for as long as possible, in the game vehicles stats says 456.7kph/283mph. And btw the best acceleration in story mode is with cars like the porsche/pfister comet or any sports car that is easy to use the "double clutch technique" the porsche is easy to do it while drifting, when using the e-brake in turns when it overrevs coming out of a drift/turn activate franklins special ability for just a second and then deactivate it, the car will skyrocket, you accelerate so fast that the in car speedometer takes a second or two to catch up to about 120-140 mph if done properly👍

Cars’ top speed is around 5mph faster out of the city than inside of it. Idk why rockstar did it, they just… did.
