Jan Shatabdi Train Running status is very slow now a days.. it should Run at a speed of 110 to 120 KM/ Hr.. and cover the distance in 6.15 to 6.30 Hrs.. as full track is completely doubled and Electrified.. so, no crossing is involved, SWR take advantage of infrastructure and provide faster connectivity.. also extended it's services upto Dharwad.
