Look, I personally think that in that one scene when Tristan was going to military school, Rory should have kissed him goodbye to make Dean mad. Then, she and Tristan would have dated until it got too much for Tristan (you know, long distance). After that, Dean and Rory would break up because, well, we know how Dean is-he wants Rory all to himself. Rory would leave him and never look back. That’s when Pookie (Jess) comes into the picture. Jess would then do his thing and get Rory’s attention, and they’d start dating. Meanwhile, Dean would be in his emo phase without Rory and cry all day. Then, Dean asks Rory if they can still be friends. This is the best part: Rory doesn’t explain anything to Dean, she just slaps the living daylights out of him and says, “Why are you trying to get me?” Then she walks away, runs to Jess, and kisses him to make Dean emotional. Jess and Rory would stay together until Jess starts flunking out of school. He leaves California, but Rory follows him to bring him back to Stars Hollow. He would say no, but then she leaves, only to come back in Season 4, Episode 13, saying, “I’m sorry, I’ve always loved you,” while Rory is still single. Then, they run to each other and kiss. Another change: Dean and Rory date, and then Tristan comes into the picture and falls for Rory. Rory falls for Tristan too, and Dean notices she’s not paying as much attention to him as usual. Dean eventually asks her what’s going on, and Rory says that they need to break up because things aren’t going to work out, blah blah blah. She and Tristan then start dating, spending a lot of time together and kissing. But then Tristan becomes a bad boy and starts getting suspended. Eventually, he gets kicked out of school. Tristan tells Rory they need to break up, even though he doesn’t want to, but they have to. Rory then goes back to Dean, and they start dating again. But then Jess comes into the picture. Everything from Season 3, Episode 19, plays out perfectly, with only a few changes. Rory would stop contacting Dean and would only focus on Jess. She’d also refuse to be friends with Dean, slap him, and walk away, kissing Jess. Now, let’s change the last part: Jess never wanted to find his dad and stays in Stars Hollow. But then he flunks out of school and gets kicked out of Luke’s apartment. He starts living with Rory because she and Lorelai agree it’s okay. Eventually, Luke takes him back, everything goes well, and Dean is out of the picture. There is no such thing as Logan.

See in my opinion I would have loved if both of them had ended up together I do understand that Jess ran away but they both did need a break from each other later they could have solved the problem and get back together they really did bring the best of themselves in each other

You wanna know why they became strangers again? BECAUSE HE LEFT HER! How are so many people team Jess? He was the worst for her. He tried to get her while she was still with Dean, he disrespected everyone in the town, and he stole and flunked out of school. I get that he’s hot and a bit charming, but that doesn’t excuse his behavior.

Based on these comments, this is very controversial, but in some ways, Gail was right here like he wasn’t wrong when he said that that wasn’t the same Peter because Peter was brainwashed into believing these things and yes, he was in there, but that wasn’t him. but he was wrong when he said “I would never say that” bc if you were brainwashed yes you would.
