I see potential for expeditions and the possibility of using it as a rescue vessel , for an injured paddler . I guess it depends on the down wind ability in a worst case scenario while being towed . .... I can see a sail option , for an injured paddler that still has partial mobility .

All these VR huge heavy head sets are old technology. Check out Oleds. Remember going to see an eye doctor? and after you get a little plastic rolled up sunglasses for your sensitive eyes?. Well right now. VR can easily be the same. Just a simple little rolled up plastic VR glasses. with surround sound speakers. The reason your seeing these crappy VR head sets is they are trying to set a standard of price. So when the real VR comes out they can charge outrageous prices for it. Indiegogo fund me site $700. It's a flat water boat. I think it might take a 6' surf but would easily be swamped and if you bounced it off the bottom would brake up. It's main competitor a inflatable stand up surfboard. Because of it's size you cannot take it on an airplane, the inflatable surfboard you can (check in bag). I've surfed 12' brake with my standup.
