If any organisation is running on a single firewall..first thing its not recommended by internations guidelines. As per the best practice, every organisation must have atleast backup firewall. Anyway, coming directly to your question. I am assuming that there is NO DR , BCP site for this organisation - following steps to be taken on priority: a) Raise Sev 1 incident and initiate conference between OEM and IT network team. keep vigorously with OEM to get back the BAU. b) Keep update the perimeter devices like IPS, proxy,AV, SIEM tool are up to date . c) Keep alert the security team specially Red team and SOC team. d) keep stakeholders informed about the breach happended. e) follow the CM process and record every steps. f) Once the FW up, recommend to implement the backup FW atleast. g) Regular review , health monitoring, Audit.
