This storyline was great, but it was definitely the actors that made it great. The writing was very hit and miss on this era of GL. But the actors hit this story out of the park.

Joie Lenz was a prime example of excellent recasting. Loved her version of Michelle. Thx for the upload.

She's the head of her Family who are Indian who are Mobsters who sent her Son Jags to Prison for a crime he didn't commit to protect her other Son Vinny who is the Fredo Corleone of The Family. She also is falling in Love with a Disbarred Lawyer named Eve.

When Michelle gets shot and pushed into the lake, at least she did not get eaten by a big black snake; snake and lake rhyme and there were those lyrics from Froggie went a courtin where it goes "they all went out for a ride on the lake, got swallowed up by a big black snake", a good song lyric would be "Miss Michelle had a fall in the lake, got swallowed up by a big black snake" thankfully she did not

Jesse could have said "Yeah right, that's why you could never keep your eyes off of Danny when we were out, you didn't look relieved when you were to get your marriage annulled, you got upset when you saw him with Pilar before you found out they were Family, and you kept stalling when it came to giving Danny back the Ring, I put up with alot from you, the world doesn't revolve around you even you think it does!"

This is when used to be soap opera now it's boring as ever like Young and the restless and bold and the beautiful guiding light was the best soap opera as the world turns too

I think Carmen was the kind of person you love to hate. I also think she was a bitch and like the devil in disguise!

♥️ Danny and Michelle ♥️ I love the fact that Danny stands up for Michelle and the fact that they're getting married and the fact that Michelle decides to stand by Danny even though he is a bad man but she turns out to fall in love with him and he turned up phone number through so in the end they got their happy ending together in a marriage and in a life and kids always and forever Danny and Michelle happy ending ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Wouldn't it be awful if Robbie & Hope somehow managed to get a Copy of Their Great Grandmother's Diary where they find out some horrific stories. Like how Grandma Carmen became a Santos, or better yet who really killed Uncle Mick. I bet it was either Blake or her Uncle Ken considering he beat the living daylights out of him back in the day.

I can understand where Drew is coming from. Since marrying Danny she's been so indecisive. Remember how Drew "reminded" michelle if she called the FBI and if the Santos Family goes down he would go down with them too. That made her feel so worried because she knew that she couldn't live with herself if she sent her "Jailer" whom she was having feelings for to Prison for the rest of his lives.

If Danny hadn't heard Carmen God knows what would have happened

This was so heartbreaking

Jesse was so "Raggedy" but if you go for a Job Interview wouldn't you wear a Suit & Tie. When Carmen talked about how "Lonely" Michelle could be, he really was angry because he knew it was a "Test" to see if Michelle would take the Bait and sleep with him.

Isn5it amazing home Michelle's First Real Love was Jesse who is Hispanic now Danny. I would have loved for Leah Bauer to have Married Rage Rivera

This was so ridiculous for them to meet at The Restaurant, I would have preferred them to meet in a more "Private Area" ie The Church, or someplace else. Also, The Santos are very annoying in the sense that the word "No!" is not part of their vernacular.

Jesse should have known it was "over" between the Two Of Them. You can't be with someone under the circumstances Michelle was under and not think that things could be back to normal. Even if Mick didn't die, I know deep in my heart Danny would have went for Michelle no matter what.

Did you see how Danny came down the Stairs, he looked like he was one moment away from smashing Carmen.

Soaps could make a killing from selling old episodes. I’d pay for all this footage if it were available! I’m sure others would too. Hell, I’d pay for footage for every couple I’ve ever liked on all my soaps. Then I could rewatch whenever I wanted and be sure it’s available

Michelle gets pushed/pulled/grabbed in almost every scene. I hope the actress didn't end up with bruised arms!

Michelle is such a hypocrite. She takes her Ring off, and then she puts it back on as if to symbolize she and Danny still have a chance to be together. Then she gets upset that she sees Jesse & Drew together.

Michelle had like "forever" to give back Danny The Wedding Band but she didn't. She could have sent it by Courier or Special D., but she didn't because she still hoped they'd have a future together.

Also in my own way I kind of felt sorry for Danny. The Santos Family were like The Ewings in the sense that they had a hard time letting anyone in. Other than his Cousins, Danny didn't have any real Friends growing up.

Michelle could have said to Jesse "For a hot minute Danny thought you killed Mick". Looking back it would have been a shock if Blake killed him. Remember she had a "Beef" with Mick before any of the others did. He had a Tape of her and Ben Warren Making Love and he knew that he could destroy her. David Grant knew but he kept it on the quiet since Ross had him acquitted when he killed Vinny Morrison.

Carmen was one of my favorite characters! I just love her! and this Michelle as well

What year was this show even made?

Can you imagine if Michelle ever told the truth saying it wasn't her but Drew Jacobs who did it, or better yet have it be discovered that Ken Norris (Holly's Brother & Blake's Uncle) did it. Carmen would have gone ballistic.

This is the part of Michelle and Abby's bond I missed when Rebecca Budig left and I'm glad to see it picked up here with Joie. It seems to me Abby was like Maureen in a way.

The writers changed this story as they went, if Mick was a member of the powerful mob Santos family, why is Dietz acting like he's over him... Anyways I liked the Dietz character, he just kind of disappeared later after he tried to blow up the church with the entire town in it.

One thing I never quite understood, The Santos family was supposed to be Latin but the actor who played Danny clearly wasn't Latin.

Wow. Drew's cell phone! Amazing to look back and see again how big and clunky cell phone where then.

Michelle is a dumb ass

Drew you are such a hypocrite, she lied to Danny about Michelle killing Mick, she sent her friend down the River and to this day nobody knows she's the real killer.

Guiding Light and As The World Turns were the BEST in the 90s. I watched them fanatically. :D Awesome s/l's.
