This is my 4th call to Xfinity / Comcast in a 30-minute period on June 10, 2023. The first 3 calls resulted in endless prompts from department to department...without ever getting a human on the phone. This 4th call ended with them hanging up on me. This is just one reason why people are "cutting the cord" in record numbers.

    To all of the customers of Xfinity, I am one of those customer representative who have been receiving customers that are experiencing the same thing, as much as we wanted to make it more easier to everyone to reach us, we couldn't. 😩

    You have to lie. You have to say new seevice to talk to a rep. What does that say about this shi$$y company. Check your bill they are not above throwing mystery charges on your bill as well.

    They do it on purpose to cut cost...its greed. You pay all that money and they cut cost to customer service.

    I figured out the way to speak to a real human being at Comcast. Go online and say you want to cancel your service. They will give you a schedule of when someone will call usually Within 10 minutes. When that person gets on the line with you tell them you want to cancel your service they will ask you why, and what's the problem. Once you explain it to them they assure you that they will take care of all your problems. If you can see my post below supposedly it is going to be taken care of. I have my fingers crossed. Also when you get the voice menu instead of saying you want to talk to a representative tell them you want to talk to the loyalty department Or the retention department..

    There was an Outage in my area today and I was texted that it was resolved but My Internet was still down. I ended up calling and got a hold of technical support next thing you know I'm told to open the Infinity app in order to get My Internet up and running. I was told to check some boxes in order to do so and the next thing you know my plan was changed to a more expensive one. I went through the same exact thing that you're going through there's no way to get a hold of anyone to straighten this out. I went back online and changed my plan back but now it shows my next payment is gonna be a 150% more than my old plan. Infinity should burn in Hell. I can't believe they get away with this.

    I feel bad for all the customer that have to go through this all the time, my best advice just say "I want to discuss my bill", as an former agent I apologize for this situation, we work very hard and sometimes without a break 'cause the volume of calls

    So calls are delay, you may try chat support and you can ask them to arrange the callback for you, and you will be getting a call from their end, No need to worry, Peter.

    Xfinity is awful. All they care about is making money and pushing new services. If you actually try to speak to an agent, they’ll only help if you’re signing up for something new. But if you want to discuss a problem, they just send you back to the automated system. The whole setup is a failure. I’m switching back to AT&T.

    I've just wasted 4 hours talking to 4 representatives (in the Philippines ), and none of them had the authority to change anything. They put you on hold and chat with a supervisor in the US who is handling multiple chats at the same time. Moving to another carrier soon.

    You have the fault because the IVR provided you the options, You had to choose the option “questions about my bill” but you said “customer service” that is not an option. Follow the steps man

    Makes me ask daily, do we benefit at all from 30 yr. old TV shows? Big 3 Pro Sports not included in our pkg. Our viewing disrupted by more Ads than ever before, taking all the joy out of TV/Internet watching. (Switching our Cable Co. was most time-wasting/frustrating event and overwhelming in terms of stupid service. Our poor phone connection with kind "offshore employees" LOL. Directed to our online acct. that couldn't be accessed for months.😂 Continued to get billed for disconnected services and continued to be prebilled for services/equipment not yet online. Customer service has no auth. to alter our bills😮. Payments are credited at snail pace. Return our calls at 8 p.m. and then to try to sell us add-on services. Can't keep an APP price for 60 days? Tech Support communicates with no one? Cable Co. favorite text phrase--"case closed"). What do we do for 2024-2025 until fixes occur? Buy streaming APPS that are 70% Ads? How do you get ANY value out of this?

    comcast Xfinty is the world worse company. they have zero good service. I canceled all Comcast Xfinity service paid them in full with check they cashed,. a comcast representative picked up their equipment which i had the rep provide a document with his signature on for evidence to prove thy had the equipment and Comcast still send asinine emails they temporally suspended my service and expect me to pay for 11 months of service after it was cancelled and isconneted. Comcast sucks. Talking to their representatives is waste of time. I also recorded all calls with Comcast to prove my case. They are horrible company. COMCAST actually was so stupid they informed me they didn't give me authority to cancel the service i was paying for

    Call 1.800.Xfinity follow prompts until you are able to speak to the automated system and say you are disabled. It will route you to a human quickly.

    I hear you sir, it is the most aggravating and ridiculous customer service IVR of all. Waste of time and money, they charge so much. After I placed an appointment for a Technician to come fix the issue. Someone called to try to help fix the issue over the phone when I have already tried with a couple of reps before and couldn’t do it. I was not sure if it was a legit call from Comcast or not, number started with 855 vs 800 or 888.

    They are so worthless. I dread anytime i need a new phone or have to contact them. It literally takes days or weeks to resolve and issue. Im not even kidding. My daughter has been without a phone for 4 days and she is a manager. She needs her phone. They dont know how to reactivate her phone since the new one does not work or activate either. We feel so defeated and FRUSTRATED

    Well to the smart ass you obviously work for the thieves. Either that or don't use the rouge company. I think and I wonder if the government I'd aware of the fraudulent billing to acp? It's evety month they change the plans bill what they want double bill . Then get this the agents are taught to bullshit you. They give credit and it's not applied. They are charging 3 times yhs rate quoted. They just keep taking money. I .an investigation needs to take place. I'm seriously saying they are defrauding their customers and the government

    Trust me guys i am working in xfinity internet billing department & its worstest for customers tbh, never ever use internet from xfinity, they’ll increase the bill all of sudden without informing the customer, you’d sign up the contract for something else & after 2-3 months, boom your price went up & when you gonna call us we eventually have to mention that it was already notified in the bill in green letter. Yes xfinity do inform but that is wrong. If customers have subscribed for a certain price for certain months or years it should be same. Wtf is discount was there on bill only for 3 months but you’re on 2 years of contract thats all bullshit. I would really apologise to everyone for bad customer service but trust me guys if we doesn’t follow what they’re saying they’ll kick us off from out job, just for save our job & get some money we’re doing thia

    When I put the password in for my phone internet it doesn't work. Only if I pay 20 a month for Connect can I use it for my phone and laptop. This is a class action lawsuit if they subject to the law . I'd like to end this wicked greedy crap and God will bring justice if we cant get it in this hell .❤😂🎉

    What I would suggest that has worked for me is, once the IVR finishes talking just say "Speak to an Agent" then it'll give a few more options then hit it with another "Speak to an Agent" it has personally worked for me a few times, try it out.

    Sir you just have to say that you want to speak to a customer service representative on call or on chat .....and if you are not able to get a voice agent you can also ask the chat agent to arrange a call for you and he will get a call within one minute And as you are educated and can login to Xfinity application or on website ...you can see that there are several option to talk or chat with an agent 😅

    Anyone who is going through this painful experience, must STOP talking with these Reps. I let Xfinity get the best of me, until I contacted the FCC and filed a complaint against them.     I had been trying to cancel mine for days when my mom heard and called for me. Idk of it mattered that she asked for a spanish speaking representative. But 14 minutes later, my service was canceled. So maybe aske a spanish peaking friend.

    After years with Xfinity I finally had enough of their sh!tty customer service. I went with T-Mobile home internet, a vast improvement! Whenever I get a discount offer to come back to Xfinity it is immediately deleted.
