Dragon's Dogma 2 OST - Gigantus Talos Theme

While the theme plays, enjoy some footage of the Gigantus! Featuring my pawn, Sparrow :) If you'd like to hire her, my pawn code is PGNP7JLDF0M3. While capturing this footage, I discovered that Talos will melt in a lava pit if not beaten within the time limit. Poor Talos. 0:00 Low Intensity 3:16 Medium intensity 7:12 High Intensity

Patlabor OST - The Making of Patlabor 2

Not sure what else to call this track other than "The Making of Patlabor 2". As far as I am aware, it only plays during a documentary about the making of the second Patlabor movie.

Otherwise calm and calculated, Takeo's fear of the paranormal gets the best of her.
Maria Tachibana 🖤😍
I kinda felt bad for killing him, but he was gonna destroy a town.
タロスがなぜ槍を投げてしまうのか解らないしソードを持って無いのも不自然です⁉️
That ghost episode is good, is on Patlabor On Televisions episode 25. Kawai...,, 😊
It really feels like the end of the world. Everyone and everything will be gone because of what I chose to do; was it selfish? Or was it right? The cycle...my path....Ulrika...what have I done...
Shadow The Hedgehog 😤
She's a cutie pie
Having the normal battle theme remixed to sound more dire and dangerous was such an incredible choice. The training gloves are off, this is the end of the world
Now it's a fight.
Reminds me of nier automata in its desolation
Basically The Brine fills the Gigantus and it moves and targets whoever tries to mess with the cycle between dragon and Arisen. It was chasing Phaesus because he wanted to make The Royce dragon the real dragon before The Dragon showed up and burnt it.
"So, another comes seeking to inter me."
"Pitiable Arisen... Why dost thou still fight?"
It goes from a stereotypical adventure game to a fucking Souls game and I love it
Absolutely pointless. Just like the dragon.
Very surprising original soundtrack. It doesn't look like Dragon's dogma but more like Bladerunner. This is the music that struck me the most in this game
Has anyone beat Talos as a mage and just meteor shower his @$$?
On my third playthrough, I had two pawns that Tornadoed him to the stratosphere. Didn't even reach the hot-springs encampment.
Even if just a gimmick fight, I loved how powerless it makes you feel as the Talos 🗿just casually walks towards the tower. The first time I faced him I thought he would just crash into the tower unlocking some sort of Worst-Ending type of scenario, so my heart was pounding hard trying to stop him by all means possible with the warrior class, which was a terrible choice. The moment this fight became unforgettable to me was when the chorus kicked in after blissfully thinking that I had successfully stopped him. Me hanging on his face with the towering Moonglint tower covered in clouds as the backdrop, and the music going wild truly made me feel like all hope was lost, but then the valley started flowing with guards manning the ballistas and explosive arrows, and everyone in a collective effort managed to stop the Talos from crashing into the tower in a climatic finale. Might've been scripted, but I get why they designed it the way they did, and I love it.
I sadly had the opposite encounter... I didn't know that the quest was essentially a small point of no return, so after I obtained what I needed from Ambrosius, I made my way to Drabnir's Grotto to help the smithy girl on the Volcanic Island (which I hadn't visited until then). Halfway along the way, I just get the "Meanwhile in Battahl..." prompt and the game section just kinda plays out without me. So then Talos started walking around while I was fighting random bandits on the other side of the map. No one said anything, I just heard the occasional stomp in the distance. It became night and I rested at a campsite, and a few minutes later, I got a few more cutscenes, including where the statue just up and dies in lava and everyone was like "... Aight, guess that's it then, let's continue". And no one mentioned Talos again. And then in later endgame, I completely missed out on the cool mecha fight with my Pawn/Talos against the Purgener. I absolutely love Dragon's Dogma 1 and 2, but this was... anticlimactic, to say the least xD Not to mention I missed out on 2 achievements because of that.
@@Windmelodie Something similar happened to me in the Unmoored world. Half of my time there was me figuring out if time was really ticking or it was just some pawn talk. They were giving me lots of Ferrystones after all, and I even placed map markers to check if the clouds would really move, and when I was almost certain that they didn't move, I started resting at inns without a care, slowly exploring the waterless areas until I got one of those "Meanwhile..." and Volcanic Island got completely destroyed. Then I was like "Oh shit". Thinking back, after 5 playthroughs (You can beat the game in 3 hours), it was really fun the first time trying to figure out like a maniac if it was really timed or I was just going crazy. But yeah, my biggest gripe with the game would be that it doesn't really highlight that bringing the stuff to Ambrosius kind of soft-blocks you, and that's specially infuriating in +80hr playthroughs.
@@praisetheoak Yeah, the Pawns do say that time is moving differently here, so I am personally glad I mildly spoiled myself by looking up what to do and how much time I had (aka time doesn't pass in game unless you sleep, then a whole day passes - unless you've completed all the endgame quests, it seems that time then stops until you do the final red beam). At one point in the game, Brant even tells you that doing this one quest (I think coronation) was a point of no return. So it would have been nice to have something similar for the new godsway. Maybe in a later patch, Capcom is seemingly trying to patch some things (like making Dragonplague less likely to occur and more easily noticeable)
The hilarious part about Talos is: how on earth is that thing suposed to keep the dragon in check? He can't get up to the tower let alone move fast enough to reach the dragon.
I think it might work like rock paper scissors, but in a more esoteric sense. Sure, we are able to kill talos, but can the dragon? The world of DD is governed by a god who likes to make arbitrary rulings on what can and has to happen. You very much are the only truly free individual in this world, so you might be the only being cabable to set in motion the actions that can bring down Talos.
this track is called "KNOCK ON THE TOMORROW" not to be confused with knock on the tomorrow II, or knock on morning these days it can be found in the patlabor anniversary music set #2, disc #2
Thanks for the info! :)
The music always brings me when I first landed in the unmoored world in my first playthrough. The music made it scary and sad, time is ticking and I have to save people I care about. Still feeling it when I listen to it though...
Remember in the trailers when Talos was made up to be an actual enemy?
Fun fact: This is the everfall, and the seneschal's chamber is exactly in it
Fluffy eyes on wings😂
Getting strong 'Demise of Ritual' from Shadow of the Colossus vibes from this. Any SotC vibes are excellent vibes
i will NEVER ignore him and always fight him like its gameover when he reaches his goal
As much of a waste of time as fighting the dragon.
@TheIrishRushin just because the first game is better there is no need to be this petulant and childish.
@@MisanthropicOcellus Ok.... I was neither of those. Figure out what words mean before speaking.
@@TheIrishRushin well you are responding to anyone’s compliment or anything positive they have to say about the game with negativity. I would say that’s pretty childish. Especially on comments from weeks or months ago.
Slay queen
Walking into this place I thought it was this game's version of the everfall. When I got the godsbane I was kind of struck by the feeling that my character was now walking towards his death, just like in the first. Music adds to that nicely.
Favorite song in the game.
The way they set up this one felt like Zorah Magdaros - almost non threatning but you get to fire a bunch of stationary weapons at him
tough ngl both fights talos and zorah are underwelming lol, and he got a Big nose, need a 30 min vídeo about talos lore lol
Talos just casually going for a stroll to the store🗿
Worm dragon theme please if you can?❤
Good soundtrack for a fight that was even more boring than Zorah Magdaros
This fight was great tf you on lmao
Nothing is more boring than Zorah, this you can at least take out a ton of different ways
You say that like Talos was even trying to fight back.
@@HHTwice Like taking a nap until Talos dies in a scripted cutscene?
@@vide0gameCaster I was like. Wtf are you talking about ... he dies in a scripted cutscene. You need to destroy him before he destroys the city. Then I search for some Talos videos and... fck me you're right. He dies regardless of if you try to stop him or not. Wtf is this... the fight was so boring to begin with and you tell me that he dies even if I do nothing? Well, at least I know that in my NG+ I will never have to bother with this again!
Masterworks all can't go wrong😢
The song is like his slow steps twords his destination. And i still remember panicking while listening to ut trying to stop him.
of course you remember it the game is not even 1 month old
Everyone: Panic and try to Destroy a walking statue before he reaches his destination. Talos: 🗿
Ah thank you! This track is amazing! It really makes the fight stand out from the rest
Thalos has a lot of potential for modders... still waiting for "Ulrika real Size."
If you mean an enemy scale mod, theres already one in the works. It has been demonstrated in the modding discord server.
😂
I really love the 3rd phase OST, but it pops up every goddamn time I leave Volcanic Isle and can't be shutted, so it can be annoying.
Gran Soren, or what is left of it, and last bastion of life as the world is being eaten by oblivion.
Talos should be in more greek mythology movies! He scared me as a baby in jason and the argonauts.
Could you do the drake dragon theme extended?❤❤❤
me struggling to reach my destination. the Dullahan appearing behind me: "nothing personnel kid"
Main trailer ost please
Yeah the trailer theme is the same as the one while riding on the dragon. I’ve been looking for that one since the game released
The hardest part of this theme is trying to hear it for more than 10 seconds since at level 38 you're already busted enough to delete a 5 health bars.
Accurate lol
Bullshit xD
I love this theme! It reminds me of the everfall theme, but also BBI safe room music😭😭😭
I never got this boss fight because I took the cave route into Volcanic Island, but his phase 1 theme did play in Bakbattahl for the rest of the playthrough x_x
Could you the do talos theme but the true ending theme?❤❤❤❤❤
Sure, I'll put one together once I get to that point in my next playthrough :)
Amazing stuff, this kills to birds with one stone, shows the full fight and the soundtrack! I thought this fight was quite epic, my only complaint was that I think there should've been a point where he goes faster to increase tension.
After he loses his arm, he should have moved a little faster, I feel. Would have made it even more tense, I think
All Roads lead to Gran Soren after all
What's left of it anyway.
