Shipping the Mudskipper to Colon, Panama was an ordeal. The supposed two days transit took almost two weeks due to a port workers union strike in the USA. We ended up taking a bus to Costa Rica after the third delay. Almost two weeks later i took the same bus back into Colon, Panama for the pick-up and drive back to Costa Rica. Fortunately she arrived in one piece after spending almost two week...

Final leg on the South America drive. In this video we travel the entire length of Colombia from the border with Ecuador to Cartagena de Indias on the Caribbean coast using Colombia's highway-25(The Pan American Highway). The border crossing was a very lengthy ordeal over three hours and around $60 USD. It has been the most expensive border crossing we have gone thru so far. Enjoy!!!

This portion of the drive takes us from the border of Peru-Ecuador to the capital Quito. A brief stop in Quito and then to the border of Ecuador with Colombia. Ecuador has one of the best highway systems in South America with fantastic views of their multiple snow covered volcanos. Truly an amazing country and can't wait to get back. Enjoy!!!

This portion of the Pan American Highway takes us thru Southern, Peru. The route hugs the cliffs all the way to Lima. Stunning scenery where the color of the desert meet the Deep Blue of the Pacific Ocean. A drive not for the faint of heart since a truly white knuckle driving experience. Enjoy!!!

Drive from Junin de los Andes, Argentina in Southern Patagonia to Paso Hama between Argentina and Chile. Paso Hama is the most Northern border Argentina has with Chile. One of the highest pave road and border crossing in South America. Every two minutes or so the video is regular speed in order to capture the sites. This is a five day drive with over 2,000 Kilometers in Argentina. Enjoy!!!!
