Hey, to change the thrall appearence I use a plug-in called ''Companion Pet Plugin''. You can change the three thralls to whatever pet you'd like, so I set it to the different wintertodt ones with corresponding attack styles. This will also count as having them transparent, so they won't hide zebak's boulders, skulls in p2 and floor lightning in p3. As for crystal helm + zaryte vambs/bgloves I don't think it's worth the extra 2 slots as you'll only be using the bofa on warden p2 and potentially on Akkha. This only applies if you shadow zebak though, otherwise I'd definitely bring those two extra switches.

By always having 2 savefiles. I think if you delete all of your savefiles you are forced into the tutorial but if you create 2 then just delete the top one for speedruns you will always get the choice to not go through.
