@@angelriverasantana7755 thanks man. I agree. I honestly think of games like Zanac or Aleste tbh (which are also great Compile games), when it comes to this game and it's OST. Either those, or some Konami games, as they usually take advantage of extended sound hardware in games such as Gyruss.

@@angelriverasantana7755 tbh I made this by watching an oscilloscope view of the OST. Then I found out the uploader used MultiDumper to rip the channels from the vgm files (which are inside vgz files). And I also used Audacity to hear the individual channels and to rip samples (either for the PCM drums or FDS wavetables)

@@AceGetChippyWitIt considering Blazing Lazers was made as the first Caravan shmup for the PC Engine, it pulled out all the stops and really showcased Compile's proficient nature when it came to technology, going as far as to influence Hudson's design philosophy for the later Star Soldier games

It's more of a reconstructed mashup than anything For the NES it was a nsf => ftm => fur conversion (damn near a straight conversion) For the Game Gear, it was a vgm => midi => nsf => ftm => fur. I pretty much made it a midi then turned into an NES track, then converted it back to Sega PSG, once it was imported back into Furnace. Then I tweaked it back to normal (fixing the pitch and noise) Again, the full explanation is in the desc.

It's more like 3/6 PCE + 1/3 AY8930 (noise and PCM), but yes the sound is supposed to be if the 2a03 + SN7 + AY8930 merge into one ;)

I actually have one made with 2/3 C64 and The Triangle and Noise of the NES. It's in the vault rn tho

It uses the original samples and some of the samples were turned into wavetable.

I took samples from the .MOD file and converted them into wavetable. And added the NES to help :)

@@Coobhornialtfire oh alright I guess. I just used the PC Engine for the first 3 channels & AY8930 for the last channel (bc I like the noise better on it tbh). So this wasn't using the SN7 chip, unfortunately. I named it that bc the concept was like a SMS (SN76489), NES (2a03), and AY8930 hybrid. But I suppose SnoozeTracker exists, which is a modded SN7 tracker, so making something similar on there shouldn't be too hard.

@@Abrimaal 2600 uses TIA which has two channels. The Atari 8-bit/5200 has the POKEY which is has 4 channels and is pretty much a enhanced version of it, from how I understand it. 7800 mainly uses the TIA, which is why most games sound sh¡tty, but Ballblazer & Commando use POKEY as an expansion chip, for better sound.

I didn't transfer at all. I did this all myself. I know you can transfer Deflemask & MOD files. But I made this by listening to the nsf on FamiTracker, and watching the oscilloscope of the MovieMovies1 & VinylCheese versions. Not easy but I did it before: ruclips.net/video/sj273ot8h94/видео.html

I did that to add extra bass, but otherwise, I'd probably would've left it out tbh

Nope It's from a GBA game

I essentially transfered the notes from the Amiga mod I imported to Furnace into the NES chip. They were pretty much just Pulse waves, plus with DPCM I didn't really feel the need for a Triangle wave, but I can see why you miss it.
