Castle Hill RSL Youth Wind Orchestra

The Castle Hill RSL Youth Wind Orchestra (YWO) is regarded as one of Australia’s finest symphonic wind orchestras, participating regularly in state and national band championships. The YWO is dedicated to providing outstanding grounding in wind orchestra repertoire.
The diverse selection of repertoire has allowed young musicians the opportunity to experience musical excellence combined with a great social environment, in this 65 piece community wind orchestra.
With one 2.5 hour rehearsal a week, the YWO has an extensive annual performance calendar of 20-30 engagements each year. The members range in age from as young as 11 through to 19 years of age.

Once again a top notch performance of one of my favourite quick marches. The band has achieved a balance, sound, and level of good intonation many professional bands would be proud of. Bravo tutti!
