Stihl 090 chainsaw test on some twigs
Everything is a twig to a 090 LOL .
True that! :)
nice condition this old lady! 😊
I dont know.... Stihl think my 660 could cut faster :)
at a 15cc difference it better. 385 is 84.7cc you have big bore 99cc? like comparing a husqvarna 50 to a husqvarna 365.
@georgesjunk guess that's not a fair call. I thought it was a 395
It's surprising how thick the oil gets when it's below zero
gotta use that synthetic
Solid. You make it look easy....
it was easier than I thought. Took a bit to figure out how to bend things up but all said and done less than 1/3rd cost getting someone else to make it
My wife used these plans from WoodPrix and she's very satisfied.
Not sure what you mean? Using common rafters? I don't have plans for building my shed. Just what size and height and everything else is figure it out along the way. Maybe not the best idea but so far working out
@@georgesjunk Everyone has their own way. The important thing is that it goes well for you. Check out these plans, maybe they will be useful to you in the future
Del 1 al 10 le doy un 8.5 Aunque debo acceptar que la toco igual😅

I have a gx690 and it dies under a load. A friend of mine gave it to me. He stated that its internal but what could it be on the inside? Starts right up, runs just fine but supposedly it dies under a load. He got a new 690 and he took the unloader off and put it on his new machine, everything runs perfectl.
easiest thing to say is do a compression check. if it's reading even on both sides and around 100psi internals are probably okay. sounds more like a fuel issue- carb issues are almost always the problem on gas jobs
actually, forgot that hondas have a compression release on start up so you a compression test isn't going to do much. id chase a carb issue first.
@@georgesjunk thank you
nice saw man I have its grandpaw and its grandkid 020av and ms200t😅
ah, yep! good old 0 series stihl.
@georgesjunk ms200t is the only ms I own 08,009L,015L,020AV,026AV,075AV,and ms200t
👍👍👍🪚🪚🪵🪵
It probably needs card work
was a bit of bar oil in the fuel tank when I got it..... ran real smoky for a bit. running better all the time it is definitely running rich in the video. I agree, a carb tuning at minimum
Да . Спецодежда спецобувь надо. Наушники. И шину минимальную. Где можно приобрести 090 ?
gotta have fun!
Nice saw. Jonsered is a great brand. Cheers
When you have the bucket full keep it as low as possible when in travel. Up in the air the way you have it you’ll tip faster than you can react.
Very true. If I had the bucket raised all the way up I'd be spilling gravel all down the front of me.... Maybe doesn't show on camera the angles very well but the bucket is at a controlled and reasonable height during travel especially as the tractor weighs almost double what it does in base trim
@@georgesjunk what ever
How long is that bar? On the video it looks like a 32" or 36", or even a 42".
24" actually! Sure is a big tree! Got some longer bars to come but need to make chains for those
✌✌👍👍
good
That saw is huge, it sounds like a dirt bike. 😅
It's a lot of fun to run! 100cc of vintage husky muscle
*Impressive demonstration! This chainsaw is a beast even with small tasks* 👍
It sure is!
😎😎😎
690???? One cylinder wtf
has 2 cylinders but spun main crankshaft bearing surfaces
co to za silnik? brzmi jak V6🤔
it's a 2 stroke. just 122cc
How much money bro
it was $260 CAD plus shipping. got a bunch of other stuff so don't know true shipping cost just for saw
✌✌👏👏
😮 Wooow....Run.
Aw man that sucks
yep. only good news is replacement parts weren't too expensive.
👌👌👍👍
😮 oh ..
yeah......
😎🤚 nice Chainsaw....Stone....cutter
Sehr schöne Säge
✌✌
Very Cool....Old Mac . Greetings from Germany Peter
Wooow nice....
Cool 😎. Greetings from Germany Peter.....😊 Husqvarna-Pit
Do what you feel like but if you can afford a 090, at least have some gloves and chaps. Bad example for beginners. Things you do always have impact somewhere you’ll never know. Nice saw though!
090 was very cheap. Cheaper than any brand new saw except for maybe a poulan. I wear chainsaw chaps but not when I'm cutting a twig or 2. Don't wear gloves ever. Don't like the loss of grip and control I get when wearing them Thanks for the comment! Glad to have you around
Decomp valve?
Not on this one. Haven't been through it yet but it'll need crank seals
Must be seized 😅
🤣 if it had any more compression it just might be
😎👍greetings from Germany
@@naturundhundSame to you from canada!
@@georgesjunk Thank you, have a nice day.
Slick Unit! Also you got a great cameraman to keep the action on screen!😁
Sure is!
Some irrational part of me wishes they still made saws bigger than the 881
Bigger is better lol.... It's the sound that gets one going
Wow. Is she heavy?
Yes sir! But will cut much much bigger wood than these twigs
45
45?
To clarify. Red Mulberry is native. White mulberry is not....
Seperti kagu pinus salam sejahtera
Manitoba Maple
Runs great cuts really really slow
Not sure...... Aim to put some modern full chisel chain. It'll be slow but if I put it in 60" of wood probably still quicker than just about anything
@@georgesjunk was kidding no bar no chain....
@natkemp-tousant4211 haha! Yep that works too. Went right over my head. But regardless, it's never gonna be speedy.
25 inch?
It's 20" But could do 25" as long as it's sharp
Cool old mac
Yeppers!
Nice Chainsaw.
That’s a sweet old saw you got there!
Nice catch on the tune! Running really nice
It sure is!
tire is on backwards, thats the problem, lol
😆...... figured why not since I'll use reverse so much.... But in reality only thing that matters is that wheel diameter stays the same due to the 4wd
Handy that you got built on hydralic jacks for quick tire change out
