#34 How I make a clock from LP Vinyl Record Acrylic Flip Cup
Hi! Today I wanted to quickly share my process of creating a recycled vinyl record clock.

These records are not in playable condition.
After the paint has cured for several days, it gets a glossy coat of spray varnish.
I use a Cricut machine to make the vinyl letters and numbers, but you don't have to, as you can see from the examples. I like to add another layer of spray varnish after attaching the vinyl letters/numbers. Even though I use permanent vinyl, I like the added protection of sealing them in, plus it adds even more of a glossy shine, which I love.

Interestingly enough, two pour painting videos showed up in my suggestions whilst I was looking at Tunisian crochet stitches. Ironically, I do both: Tunisian crochet, and acrylic pour painting, so maybe that's why??

Love the outcome, and the seeming simplicity of the colour palette. It really enriches each individual colour and effect. I noticed that you lined all the rings up with each other, and poured them slightly left of midline. I tried one once with two rings left of midline, one ring right of midline, hoping to get an uneven effect. It didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped, but it came out nice anyway. Keep the art coming!!

What pen are you using to move the paint please?
@@carolinehilton9862 it looks like a pencil on one end and it's tapered on the other, it is solid rubber/silicone it came with silicone mixing cups and sticks in a kit for mixing resin ...I have used wooden skewers...the other end of a paint brush. Lots of things will work to make the designs with. Unfortunately I'm not able to attach a picture in the comments.
