Jam! I’ve been hoping to see you do this challenge someday! You are so damn good! Seriously, Try it! It’s quite challenging once you get to Elite and I would really like to see what you do to keep your speed consistent.

Yeah the 2nd one can be useful, especially on lap 3. If you have at least 2 1/2 turbo bars filled by that time you can use 3 turbos till the end for a strong finish. I do it in my Delirium competitive race listed in the ‘RR Competitive’ Playlist. (Edited for grammar error)

@@basilford9780 oh that lol. At the beginning if you notice the road goes a ways then curves around to the right around the mountain which you can see the upper Road above you at the starting line. What you do is you take that upper road to the right going downward. You’re basically going the wrong way, but once you hit that checkpoint going down the checkpoint timer stops and then you will see a checkpoint off to the right, you have to go for that one by jumping up. That’s pretty much the ideal to goto route everybody is taking.

@@jvega6381 I didn’t perform these but i can assure you these are all legit combos. There were 3 versions of the game 1.3, 1.4, 1.5. Certain glitches were performed based on certain versions of the game. Even the 1.5 version still had glitches.

I'm doing the "No-Turbo Challenge". You basically remove your Turbo button and try ranking to Unreal without Turbo. It's tough! I'm 1/2 way through Elite right now! xD

@@Flamethrowermk2 I am! I used to play it on game ranger about 3 years ago. Unfortunately when I switched to another ISP, game ranger would never correctly launch the game (issue is the ISP being so restrictive). Sadly, I won’t be able to play until I change my ISP. That will be soon though and I will surely come back! Tell Eratic_Cheese I said hello! He goes way back!

I know for this route that I’m taking is not ideal and is most likely slower. So on the flipside I tried to build my turbo meter. When I got into the lead, I was trying to pour it on early. I just knew players would at some point catch up so I was banking on three turbos near the end to keep my position. I was lucky it worked out because dewder and Leo were closing in fast by the end. 😅

I gotta admit, I hated this map for a long time until I started seeing how really good players were picking up so much speed. I worked on it in speedrun and saw some major results of improvement implementing what I learned. Also this run, I was extremely lucky to Bunnyhop off that guard rail as it was not intended, but hey! I’ll take it! 😅

@@Hydra48 odds are you were probably playing on NA-East. It seems a lot more top players play on that server. Try Central or West. You should have a better odds. The Competition has definitely increased. I took a two month break from the game, came back and a lot of my fellow rivals have left me in the dust. Especially on the new maps. Also, it seems a lot more people have really gotten used to doing “mag flips” More often. Many have improved quite a bit. What I’ve also noticed is I’ve seen some players that were really good at the new maps, but not so good at the older season 1 maps. Also keep in mind this video you commented on is pretty outdated. I do a different strategy now. I just haven’t uploaded a video of what works better.

@@SKYMONKEY42 I think I am on NA-East, it never even crossed my mind to change it lol. Yeah it's definitely harder than it was last season which I would've hit unreal by this point. You just described me because I am significantly better at most of the newer maps than the super old ones, not sure why. I did notice that this video was outdated, but I was specifically looking for unreal runs that weren't world records. I'll take your advice to try Central or West and will keep looking out to try and find new strategies on these maps. Thanks!

@@MG.92Plays hey man! Yeah I took a break for 2 months, I just came back about a week ago. I’m not so great at the new maps yet but I’ve managed to improve a decent bit on a lot of the others. I just don’t get to play like I used to but I’m working on it. 👍

I play on PS5 only. I don't know about delays in the races but if you see delays in my video races it's because of Lag (my internet isn't the best). PS5 has the recording software. I use PS5 to cut the videos and also save a screenshot per video. Then I copy these files to a USB, I change the file names to keep track and then upload them to RUclips.

Yeah, it was pretty good! Unfortunately, one of them didn’t go as planned lol but was lucky to still recover it. Thanks for watching.

@MadGamer.92 Yeah it was a close race. I’ve seen that guy “Ty Passed U” a few times. He’s good. I learned a better way to race this map. I have a few videos I plan to upload racing with “Lain Racing” and others. Lain is crazy good. He made it to Unreal # 38. I’ll upload the races soon.

@zuo yeah, I feel you there about the reward. It was kind of subpar being Just purple rims (that I never use). Pretty much the Ranking doesn’t really start until you’ve reached unreal. Then it’s all about how close to #1 you can get. I stopped at 572 because after I got to unreal my kids wanted their purple rims too lol. I honestly wish there were rewards for getting lower in number within unreal. Outside of grinding the other accounts I’ve just been doing private races with others from “Lain Racing’s” discord channel. It’s a lot of fun, plus I’ve been trying out the custom maps others have made.

@@SKYMONKEY42 I recently posted a short on this manner regarding the rewards. I think it's a joke that you can equip any color of wheels which you usually need to aquire the rank for if you buy them from the shop. Any set of wheels from the shop has full access to all colors even the purple Unreal. Even the Mc Laren wheel set has all colors unlocked without the need of the rank. So the rewards are completely useless lol. The only way to show them off is to use them on the Octane with default set of wheels.

@@toni-toni-antoni My best Unreal # was 572. I didn't grind any further because I was working on a 2nd unreal account. Both are in the 800-1000 range. I have 2 more Unreal accounts (My kids wanted the Purple wheels), those are # 6000-7000 lol. I have 1 more to finish then I'm going to try for top 200-300, we'll see!

Thanks man! I learned some new tricks on this map and I’m trying to figure out a cleaner run that I can post with a better time but this one wasn’t too bad. I nailed A 2.54 which was pretty good but I didn’t record it lol. I hope to post one soon
