I heard that you thought about putting wheel spacers andI heard that you thought about putting wheel spacers in I was considering that also but I was told that it's hard on your bearings
I’ve had my spacers on for over a year and ride my machine pretty hard. My suggestion is to make sure your axle nuts, wheel spacers, and wheels are torqued to spec. I check mine every 500 miles and grease the bearings with every oil change.
@Averagedude247 thanks for the feed back.
I know with my Polaris I think all the wheel bearings have a little play. The control arms as well
They all do for sure but this was excessive.
Thanks for being honest 100 miles is a bit disappointing
It is but I haven’t had any issues since then.
Have you ridden at 60 mph. That is where I would not want too much roll.
I have been over 60mph on the road and haven’t really felt much of a difference.
My 24 model is definitely not a limited slip rear dif.

I think they got groove rotors out now
I’ll have to look into that. The machine does stop a lot better after the caliper was replaced though.
Awesome vid!!! You just earned a new subscriber!! 🤩🤩🤩
How are the wheel bearings holding up?
No issues, I check them every 100 miles or so they don’t have play, and that aren’t noisy. Like I said in the video, as long as everything is tight there shouldn’t be any issues.
What length were your spacers?
1.5” when I installed those on the rear. Now I have the 1.5” in the front and 2” in the rear.
How did you like the handling post installation?
It rides a little smoother, the biggest thing is that I feel more confident driving at higher speeds, and the 3”-4” wider stance helps crawling in the trails (more stability and better chance that the tires will roll over a rock or push off a wall opposed to damaging the body). Since I posted this video I’ve moved the 1.5” to the front and installed 2” in the rear. Absolutely no negatives in adding these spacers to my machine.
How about mud and water getting inside the cab??? I like that I can blast through mudy water and currently get little inside
Haven’t noticed a difference.
Does your front windshield leak
There are a few gaps that aren’t sealed to the frame and there are holes that the Velcro straps go through. But, I’m not getting splashed or dripped on when riding in the rain.
@@Averagedude247 thank you
Can you tell us the width of the spacers you made?
5/8” or 16mm
I did the same as you on the rear and the tires don’t spin independently. If I spin one the other spins as well
Thanks for your video...nice build. So, why do you want the front and rear wheels square? My understanding is that you want the rear spacing to be LESS than the front spacing for rollover stability. Making the front and rear square seems like it would make the vehicle more prone to rollover, particularly at speed or in an emergency maneuver. Thoughts? FYI, I talked to CFmoto rep about this and that is why the stock 1000 has a narrower wheel track in the rear. I just bought the 1000 xl and want to put 30s on it, so my thought is to add 1.5" spacers in the rear and 1" spacers in the front so that the rear track is still narrower than the front track. This would maintain the narrow wheel track in the rear since I would be gaining 2 inches in the front (assuming 30x10x14 tires all around).
I honestly didn’t look that far into it. Looking at other SxS I haven’t seen many where the rear track width is less than the front, but again, I didn’t look into it. Since I posted this video I moved the 1.5” spacers to the front and installed 2” spacers in the rear. With that, the rear is technically an inch narrower than the front. With adding and moving the wheel spacers. Lifting the machine and removing the rear sway bar, I have never felt that the machine is unstable. Thanks for watching.
Awesome possum. Thanks for
Does one order come with 2, or need to order 4?
The set I ordered only comes with two wheel spacers.
that rocking slop you have is going to be an issue, the leverage on the brackets you installed will rock it back and forth whenever your suspension hits max extension casing the holes to oval, the copper pipe you used as a spacer is to soft and will crush over time making the rocking in the bracket even worse, you would be better off copying the expensive lift by cutting your own brackets using 3/16th steel plate
Thanks, I ran the lift off road a few times and didn’t have an issue with the brackets moving. I removed this lift kit last week and there weren’t any signs of wear, but if I was going to reinstall this I’d use steel instead of the copper. Personally I don’t think it’s worth the cost savings and the extra work that’s needed to only add an inch of clearance. I will be installing the Perfex lift in the spring.
Oh, and how did the Novus wax work? Thanks. Think im getting the velcro front and rear for my 2021 Uforce 1000. Same color as yours. Love it.
Did that fix the slapping on the windshield? Im about to purchase mine. Not sure about getting the c clamps over the velcro. Need to find a video with the c clamps. Ive subscribed and liked. Thanks for the tutorials. Cheers.
Thank you for subscrbing! Adding the additional foam where the windshield touches the dashboard stopped the slapping. I would recommend the velcro straps over the c-clamps, easier to remove for air flow or to deep clean your machine. I have not purchased the Novus yet. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for helping us keep an eye on that backside🍑! Much love my brother 💪🏽
Nice
Who makes that who is the manufacturer?
CFMoto
The motors are pretty much the same as Can-Am. They have the same rebuilt kits. They just don’t have turbo. Same oil filter too.
I would say the clutching is different Can-Am defender probably around 55 -60 miles an hour Cf Moto XL 1000 top speed 75 Can-Am is better on the low end you can change the clutching to do the same thing
Nice video. One weekend of that kind of riding...will equal 3yrs worth of farm duty...so I'd say the unit is worth it for most folks! I'm hoping to get a Uforce 600 this month.
Been considering stiffening my suspension up as well, how was the ride after? Any noticeable difference
I only adjusted the rear because I feel like the front is too stiff even on the stock setting. The rear feels better with the preload adjusted all the way up in my opinion.
Hi buddy, please help me out with some information if possible. My brand new 23 xl, makes a noise in the driveline when you are are of the throttle and back on the throttle. Like a clanking noise like something is loose, dealer said all of them do it...but I am quite worried. I understand the jerkiness, but the noise that comes with it, don't sound too good. Thanks!
I would think that would be a clutch engagement issue. Contact the team over at www.mainstreetcycle.com/ or rngperformance.net/ and talk to them. They both have RUclips channels as well with a lot of great information.
Thank you alot buddy

I have the same lift. Going to try and install it this weekend. Just need to get washers and spacers
It didn’t take very long once I figured out what I needed.

Nice job, Looking forward for a update!
I took it out on a trail ride yesterday and it didn’t shift or make noise.
Thanks for the info. I have a 2022 uforce 1000 and I have thought about removing mine, I thought you would gain a little more articulation with removing it. I wonder how much more it affects the actual ride over rough/rocky terrain. Please share after you have tried it out. Thanks again.
Will do for sure. Our next trail ride is planned for Labor Day weekend. Just riding around my property it feels better and smoother but the trails will be the true test.
Thanks, look forward to the update. Have a safe and great ride.@@Averagedude247
I went on a trail ride today and I am convinced removing the sway bar made a significant difference. I didn’t feel like I was being tossed back and forth.
Soo what's your final thoughts now? Thinking about doing it this weekend
I definitely think it’s going to make a difference off road but I haven’t been out to the trails yet. I would say for you to try it and if it’s not for you then reinstall it or get the quick disconnects.
You don't save much money if you have to change out a million dealer parts because oem sucks .
True, but every vehicle can benefit from aftermarket parts to make it better for when you want to do. Whether it’s a car, truck, ATV UTV… you can leave it stock and enjoy it or modify it and enjoy it even more.
2023 Uforce XL 1000 . So far I’m loving it. Definitely has plenty of power and saved myself around 5-6 over the competition.
I dont understand why they sell these things. And a man goes and puts clutch kit and new belt in them, im sure there is other issues
It can be argued that everything you buy can have issues, and be upgraded. Personally I don’t have any issues with the clutching, nor hav I experienced the “jerkiness” that others complain about. Other than the very minor issues I found and had the dealer fix without any issue, I am completely satisfied with this SxS. I’m sure once I put larger heavier tires on it I will see a big improvement upgrading to an aftermarket clutch kit.
There nylon nuts on the top. It’s a pain to remove it. Mine spun and wouldn’t come off the 3rd time I took my window off. That’s why I’m watching your video I’m gonna order straps but I’ll have to make the slots bigger. But it’s worth it for easy on off applications
Thanks for the video! Still loving the UForce?
No complaints except I need more time to get on the trails.
China made junk, plain and simple.
Can’t expect everything to be perfect no matter where it’s from. At least these are minor issues and my dealer took care of everything (which they should because it’s still under warranty)
@@Averagedude247ya this guy just don’t see what the rest of us see lol
Dude take a look around you right now everything is made in China and all the major brands as well may be built in USA but parts manufactured overseas.
@@jakeluquette1668 exactly lol
The Primary Clutch Kit from RNG Performance will take away all of your clutch engagement issues FYI.
Honestly the only time I have a hard engagement is backing it out of the garage after startup. If I let it warn up and rev it a little in neutral it’s smooth. I also run in normal mode most of the time so the throttle is smoother. I’ll get a clutch kit eventually but have other things I want to tackle first.
Cfmoto, canam and polaris will alway have this jumpiness at the start because they don t have hydrolic clutch like the other brand... Kawasaki and yamaha still have ctv but they have a centrifugal hydrolic clutch in addition to the cvt to help with the smoothness at the throttle engagement... if you want the top one in my opinion, you buy a honda
I agree. I would have loved to get a pioneer but I am happy overall with the CFMoto. I usually stay in normal mode so the throttle isn’t so sensitive and allows for a smoother engagement.
Link to where you bought them ?
I bought them from Main Street Cycle but if you Google search Moose Racing and the part number (in the video) there are other places that sell them for the same price with free shipping. Partsgiant.com is where I’ll order my next set after I install the lift.
I wonder if this kit will fit on a 2023 u force xl?
Mine is a 2022 1000XL and they use the same wheel spacers.
@@Averagedude247 right on. I want to keep my stock tire size because it's so damn expensive. This should work great. Thanks for the reply.
The factory belt on my new uforce 1000 got a little loose at 100 mi. of break in time ~ caused a jerk in the engagement was smooth as silk when new. I installed a gboost bad ass belt and the engagement is back to normal, I highly recommend a really good belt before doing any clutch kit.
Thanks for the update
Would you recommend this unit? I’m having a heck of a time deciding on a side by side lol
I would, the couple things I found could be an issue on any other brand. It has plenty of power, the aftermarket is coming around, and they’re building the dealer network. Not to mention they are significantly less expensive than the other brands. If you haven’t already, I urge you to subscribe to the channel. The trails in my area open in two weeks and I’m going to see what it’s capable of.
@@Averagedude247 oh heck yeah brother, I’ll subscribe for sure! Thank you for your technical content. I’m an aircraft mechanic and I appreciate your level of investigative maintenance.
I subbed. I’m also a jet aircraft mechanic.
Excellent content my friend! Keep it up!
Just to help anyone interested in this windshield, I bought this but went with the brackets instead of the velcro straps. I thought it would be more secure. The brackets for the top had to be bent and they were more difficult to bend than for the bottom piece also I do not want to remove this after installing it. If you may want to remove it, go with the velcro straps.
Thanks for adding that!
Getting close to 4k on mine no issues yet.
Appreciate the heads up! Thanks for sharing!
Cf Moto have come along way from their early days. The price is great in these times where everything is expensive. I priced one out but decided to buy a defender instead. There were several things I would have wanted to change with the CF Moto that I didn’t on the defender. Just a personal preference .
MSC has some aftermarket A-arms lower and upper heavy duty from Moorehead off-road
Thanks, I've seen them but they are a little pricey. CFMoto has a Service Bulletin out for the play in the arms so the dealer is taking care of it. I'll probably get the Super ATV front arms and brass bushings.
