Covert & Classified Ep 1 HMT Rohna
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.Год назад
The tragic sinking of the HMT Rohna by a German secret weapon that remained Classified and Top Secret for over 50 years and was never written about in the history books.
My grandfathers brother perished on that ship . We didn’t get a body . Wish we knew exactly what happened to him .
You need to research the USS Pioneer since you failed to recognize the 600 or so men she saved from the water, ask any of the Rohna survivors and they would tell you
I had an uncle who was on that ship.
👍
The basis of European science advancement is rooted in classical culture which educates the mind of people. Unfortunately technology is also used for military purposes. The driving force has always been the Leibnizian principle of the pursuit of happiness which has been adopted by the authors of the US Declaration of Independence. The best expression of this is the current 8 billion people living on the planet today. Both Hermann Oberth and Wernher von Braun have always intended to lift humanity in to space. The next step, to go beyond low earth orbit, will never be achieved by a culture driven by rapmusic and drugs. My best guess is that the Chinese will take the torch of scientific advancement while the rules based order tries to sabotage their efforts. They might even recruit an Hollywood alien or two to spread their negative outlook of human creativity and achievement.
Welcome back. Set up still looks good.
Hi folks and thanks for sticking with me. I had to move my studio to a new location and get settled in to make some more content. I should be able to make weekly videos from now on. Thanks for the support.
Glad you are back!
Thanks for the support. Really appreciate that.
My Father was a survivor of the sinking of the HMT Rhona. He served as a Radio Operator/Waist Gunner in China for duration of the War.
The idea that we can still be learning about the classified weapons aspects of a war that ended almost 78 years ago is mind-boggling…. And awesome.
And SAD that so few people know about it!
Dude still holds an insane record - last combat kill using a longbow.
I am lucky enough to come from Surrey so know of Mad Jack, what a guy.
Another interesting, heretofore unknown, tidbit to ponder… I sure would like to know why the operation and events remain classified 77 years after the events occurred? I’m sure the crews have all since passed, but I wonder if there isn’t a child or grandchild of one of those crew members who was told an an interesting tale in their youth…
I enjoyed the video and the way you tell a story
Men like him who don’t quite fit eventually became the s.a.s
An excellent documentary but please refrain from imitating an English accent! Nice try, but no cigar Sir! Superb!
👍
👍
Untrue.
Just heard you on the tom sullivan show... Looking forward to checking out all your videos. Subscribed!!👍
Get ready to blow up buddy. Just heard of your channel on the Tom Sullivan Show! Good luck with everything 👍🏿
Who’s the guy you were talking about that did the AI experiment last night ? Heard you on Tom today.
What can ya say, only be humbled by such a life force, and wonder was this genetics , environment, a mixture, r just a freak of nature. What a man
Another insane British Soldier is Sir Adrian Carton de Wiart. After war he wrote "I had a really good time", AFTER being shot in the eye, lost his arm, blown up charging machine gun nest with a handgun and still took it, many many more injuries etc. Served in a war before ww1, ww1, and ww2 His exploits are more than legendary
Your narration makes for easy listening and the content is well knitted together, enjoyed the video thanks.
Good afternoon everyone
Amazing and wonderful story!!! Thank you!
Enjoyed it thoroughly! You made me want to know more about this remarkable man. Thanks!
Hollywood would not allow a British solder to become a hero in the American eyes
Oh come now Jen, feeling more than a little defeatist are we today...as soon as U Brits can get rid Sunak, anything is possible ...
You have a great voice and fine storytelling skills. Thanks for your hard work. It’s appreciated 🧸
There are many stories like this of amazing men and weomen that their stories are recorded but not well known or presented in movies and literature. I hate when it is just another retelling of the same story with the actor of the year. History is usually more interesting and amazing than fiction. It would be great to see more of these stories told.
Bloody good job telling Mad Jack's tale!
We need people like that again to govern real men real leaders for a uncertain world Lest We Forget 🇦🇺👍
Interesting story. I think the cooling tower seems more likely for that structure. If the Kecksburg UFO was a replica of Die Glocke, why would they bother putting symbols in the same spot rather than just leave them off?
he does however , sound like an interesting fellow .
i'd trade my second son for that Zenith ! what a neat bike ! sounds to me that " mad jack " was indeed mad . anyone who wants to make a war last " 10 more years " is a psychopath . why would ANYONE wish that ? not very " heroic " at all .
Enjoyed that , thank you . Check out a guy called Sir Adrian Carton de Wiert "the unkillable soldier . Think he fought in the Boer war as well as WW1 and WW2 .
Sabaton needs to do a song about him
The corporal that you mentioned was his batman, an officer's orderly in the British army. His story and his WW2 adventures with Mad Jack are worth looking into.
Fantastic documentary, also great voice!
With your calm voice you make a perfect commentator for your stories, and a pleasure to listen too, so have 'subbed' to listen to more of them. Thanks.....
Churchill was British. He was a _LEF-tenant_ Colonel.
officer who does not carry sword into battle is not an officer by Jack Churchill
The most amazing part is that he didn't get fragged by any one serving under or alongside him.
Who needs Chuck Norris, we Have 'Mad Jack' Churchill and Christopher Lee
NO HOLLYWOOD HISTORY FILM …THE YANKS WILL TWIST AND DISTORT TO SUIT THEM
I'm not just impressed, I'm AWESTRUCK,at the man's accomplishments. IOWA DAD JOKE of the day [Q] what is the most distinguishable characteristic,of the DOGWOOD TREE? [A] Why, its BARK,of course
So where did yo serve
Before we start the video.I have heard of him.Thought every Brit officer should carry a broadsword in to action like he did.He also killed.Germans with a bown& arrows.among other things & other places. He even cussed the American ls saying we could have kept this war going forn10 more years.if the USA didn't drop the A-bomb.
Great story. Jack's first tidal bore surfboard ride was on the river seven between England and Wales
That's where I came from even fished for elvers from the banks of the Severn.where if I hadn't paid a attention, would of be swept away by one of the tidal bore . Saw several bores racing up the Severn & yes they still do surfe the Severn Bore up River , you can see them.on RUclips . By the way the locals make a few Bob netting glass eels over the spring tide season but I never did but managed to keep my feet dry .
